Located within the beautiful countryside on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, this charming stone-built holiday home is surrounded by glorious views of the Cheviot Hills. The area is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, with opportunities for walking, cycling, and fishing nearby. The award-winning shop/cafe in Cornhill, just four miles away, provides essentials and is ideal for coffee and lunch. Nearby Wooler, known as the 'Gateway to the Cheviots,' offers riverside picnics, golf, and various shops, pubs, and restaurants. Historic Kelso with its market town and racecourse is within easy reach, as is the Northumberland coastline, including Holy Island (20 miles), Bamburgh (25 miles), and Alnwick (30 miles).
This cosy cottage features underfloor heating throughout, making it inviting all year. The bright and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner showcases character with rounded stone wall features. Comfortable seating in the lounge area provides a relaxing space to watch TV. The well-equipped kitchen includes an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, and dishwasher, with a dining table perfect for shared meals. A utility/boot room offers space for outdoor clothing and includes a washing machine and sink, with a separate WC nearby. The accommodation comprises two bedrooms: a super-king-size with sliding doors to the patio and a private en-suite shower room, and a twin bedroom with a sofa bed for an additional guest, also featuring an en-suite shower room. Both shower rooms include WCs for added convenience.
The garden area surrounding this dog-friendly holiday home offers beautiful views of the countryside.
