The village has cafes, pubs, shops, golf and a bustling harbour, where Farne Island boat trips offer daily sea safaris and wildlife-spotting adventures offshore. Keep your eyes peeled for nesting seabirds and grey seals throughout your time here, whether you’re out at sea or embracing a brisk walk along the Northumberland Coastal Path. Seahouses Beach offers a wide, sandy expanse, and you can also enjoy nearby Beadnell Bay Beach (2 miles) for ball games, water sports, picnics and other sunny pastimes. Make your way north to Bamburgh (3.5 miles), where you’ll find the mighty Bamburgh Castle, the fascinating RNLI Grace Darling Museum (4 miles), and epic views towards the Farne Islands.


This attractive property has all the hallmarks of a comfortable family home – spacious, well thought out, and inviting in every room. After a long walk, stop off in the hallway to leave coats and boots, and notice the handy WC.
