A home to relax and unwind From the moment you arrive along the stepped wooden decking path â bordered by mature plants and flowering shrubs â The Poolhouse makes an impression that the photographs, as good as they are, only begin to convey. The interior is warm, playful, and deeply considered, combining rich ochre and mustard tones with boutique-quality finishes and a series of thoughtful design details that give the space genuine character.
A neon sign reading `Sunshine, Love, Laughter and Fun` glows above the sofabed, gold-framed circular mirrors catch the light across the walls, and a rustic driftwood side table is dressed with a fresh floral arrangement and a welcome jar of sweets on arrival. Every element has been chosen with care â this is not a generic rental; it is a space with soul. After dark, the garden and decking come alive with atmospheric lighting that makes the outdoor area every bit as enjoyable as it is by day, whether you are finishing a meal outside or simply relaxing beside the pool under the evening sky.
The layout The Poolhouse is a single-storey, open-plan studio arranged across one thoughtfully designed level, with a natural flow between each area.
Living and sleeping area The heart of the studio is the large open-plan living space, anchored by a generously sized yellow corner sofabed dressed with a luxury mattress, layered cushions in ochre and terracotta tones, and a woven throw. Full-height glazed patio doors run across the width of the space, flooding the interior with natural light and opening directly onto the decked terrace and pool beyond. Room-darkening roller blinds provide excellent privacy and light control when needed. A voice-activated Sky Glass TV, a sound system, and extra pillows and blankets complete the space. A bar unit with bar stools adds a further social element to the living area.
Kitchen The kitchen is fitted to a high standard with white worktops, an L-shaped layout, a vertical wooden slat feature wall, and a skylight set into the ceiling above, drawing in additional natural light. It is fully equipped for self-catering and includes an induction hob, oven, combi microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, instant boiling water tap, coffee maker, toaster, and hot water kettle. Cooking basics, dishes and silverware, wine glasses, and kitchen consumables including tea and coffee are all provided.
Shower room The ensuite shower room is a genuine highlight of the property. It features twin rectangular vessel basins set on a dark vanity unit, paired round black-framed mirrors, and striking botanical-print wallpaper â creating a boutique hotel feel that carries through the whole space. The walk-in shower enclosure is finished with gold mosaic wall tiles and fitted with a black thermostatic shower unit. A heated towel rail and wall-hung toilet complete the room. A curated selection of Aesop toiletries is provided throughout, including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body soap, hand wash, hand cream, and hand sanitiser. A hair dryer is also included.
Laundry and changing room A dedicated changing room â accessed via an internal door from within the studio â houses a stacked washer and dryer, along with a drying rack for clothing. This room connects through directly to the shower room, giving the studio a considered, practical flow that makes longer stays just as comfortable as a short break.
Outdoor space The studio opens directly onto a generous decked terrace complete with an outdoor dining area, BBQ grill, and barbecue utensils. An outdoor kitchen area with a mini fridge is also available. Guests have exclusive use of the private outdoor pool from April to October. The garden is bordered by mature planting and flowering shrubs, and the entire outdoor area is lit atmospherically in the evenings â making it equally enjoyable after dark. All indoor and outdoor spaces, including the garden, decking, and pool, are for the exclusive use of guests staying in the studio.
Getting around is straightforward. Chiswick overground station (Mildmay Line) is just 7 to 8 minutes on foot, with direct services into London Waterloo taking approximately 30 to 35 minutes. Two local bus routes operate from Sutton Court Road, connecting guests to Chiswick High Road and Turnham Green tube station (District line) in approximately 10 minutes. From Turnham Green, guests can reach Hammersmith in around 10 minutes by District line, with onward connections to the Elizabeth line and central London, and Heathrow Airport is accessible in approximately 29 to 30 minutes via the Piccadilly line (services run every 15 to 20 minutes during off-peak hours). By car, Heathrow is approximately 20 to 25 minutes away. Please note that parking is not available at this property.

Booking policy Full payment is due 30 days before arrival and will be automatically charged to the card on file. If payment fails, it must be completed within 24 hours or the booking will be cancelled. Early payment is allowed; card fees up to 3 percent are non-refundable if cancelled. A security deposit of ÂŁ400 is required for this property.
Cancellation policy Full refund if cancelled 30 or more days before arrival. Fifty percent refund if cancelled fourteen to thirty days before arrival. No refund if cancelled within fourteen days of arrival.
