An attractive, rural hideaway for two, this appealing holiday home is perfect for anyone wishing to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of Derbyshire and Staffordshire. Situated near Ellastone, 5 miles from Ashbourne and 6 miles from the magnificent Peak District, it offers attractive, single-storey accommodation. Part of a charming complex, nestled within shared grounds that guests are welcome to explore, this one-bedroom hideaway sits in beautifully converted former stables. Step outside to follow footpaths through the scenic countryside. Venture 7 miles into picturesque Dovedale, with its famous stepping stones and limestone ravines. Spend a thrilling afternoon at Alton Towers, 4 miles away, or while away a few tranquil hours in the National Trustâs Ilam Park, 6.5 miles away. Plan a day out to impressive Chatsworth House, 25 miles from your base, or hop on your bikes to follow the 13-mile Tissington Trail, which runs between Ashbourne and Parsley Hay. The award winning Denstone Hall Farm Shop is 3 miles down the road, set in the picturesque village of Denstone beside the River Churnet.
Tear yourselves away from the spectacular views of the Staffordshire Hills and its verdant surroundings to enter this welcoming, ground-floor abode. Discover an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where you and your loved one or friend, and even a canine companion, can relax together in comfort after your exciting excursions.
