Contemporary Restored Cottage in the Heart of Kentish Village
Stunning contemporary renovation in the heart of the Woodchurch Conservation area with views over the village green. This detached conversion offers modern living with hints of the original building, with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. The bi-fold doors open to combine the outdoor space with the lounge, kitchen and dining area â perfect for al-fresco eating and a great feature! This is a good central location for visiting all parts of Kent and with easy links into London by car or high speed train. There are nice walks from the property or bring your bikes!
The open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area seamlessly opens out to the patio area, creating one large space and blending indoors with the outside. The contemporary kitchen includes a dishwasher and fridge with freezer, there is seating for 4 people with dining as well as in the lounge, which also includes a digital flatscreen TV. There is a shared washing machine and tumble dryer in an outbuilding. The wet-room provides a large walk in shower, WC and basin as well as featuring under-floor heating. The second bedroom has a single bed with a quality pull-out to sleep 4. The light and airy master bedroom has an excellent vaulted ceiling, a king size bed and plenty of wardrobe storage.
Really good place to stay in a nice quiet, friendly environment.
Location perfect for us to visit several parts of Kent - an area we had previously not visited.
Great spot for wine tourism and would definitely consider coming back.
Great converted barn, ideal location for exploring Kent. Equipped with everything needed for our stay. Perfect size for myself and my daughter for the week. Host Gina is very friendly and helpful and we were always greeted by Pixie (cat) on our return! Nice to have off-road parking in a small village đ. My only comment would be that the second bedroom is very small, with a low ceiling and no window, as such, and the picture showed two single beds, which we thought we could push together for my adult daughter. There was only one single bed, which she found a little uncomfortable, as she is used to sleeping in a double! Overall a lovely place to stay.
Great location for exploring the local area and the wonderful Kent countryside and coast.Comfortable and light and spacious. All the right facilities for a very good holiday. Lovely patio garden Helpful and friendly owner. Thank you.
A seamless experience in terms of booking and getting the details. The barn itself was spotlessly clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. Itâs not massive but as a family with 2 kids under 10 we were very comfortable. The village is lovely and very well located for exploring the local area. Lots to do nearby. Thank you!
Really cosy and comfortable property. Has everything you might need and if you canât find something just ask the owners. Well located for looking around the area. Excellent fish and chips from mobile wagon that parks in the village hall car park opposite the property. Order early and collect later as it is very very popular. Village pubs within short walk and the Bonny Carvat has wonderful staff and food.
A charming barn conversion in a beautiful Kent village
We loved our week in Kent and could happily have stayed a lot longer, there is so much to do and the barn was well set up and the beds very comfortable - we will be back!
Very clean and tidy property . Owner very helpful and told us places to visit. The property was convenient for visiting lots of interesting places. The pubs are both very good. We had a lovely meal in the Bonny Cravat at lunchtime. Would recommend this property.
This was our first staycation in Kent and it did not disappoint. The property is spotless, fully equipped and spacious for the three of us. The outdoor space is wonderful and was a great spot to relax and unwind. There are two pubs within walking distance and we ate at the Bonny Cravat and the food and service were excellent. We would definitely book again and cannot recommend this property highly enough.
Fantastic +++++++. Great pubs beautiful walks which I downloaded before got there .
A wonderful venue. Good bus service to Tenderten. Local shop and post office. Plus a bonus of fish and chip van on a Wednesday and a pizza van on a Thursday . Just in case you do not want to cook. Delicious đ. Owners very welcoming and a lovely church close by. We sat out and listen to the campanologistâs practicing ,just glorious.
Woodchurch vineyard is worth a visit too.
Great stay in extremely clean barn cottage in centre of Woodchurch. Great for walks, winery visits, and access to local villages. Had a lovely time, and hosts were so helpful.
