This excellent setting means you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to places to eat, with a fabulous selection of independent cafes, bars, and restaurants on your doorstep. You’ll also be just 0.5 miles from one of Whitby’s gorgeous, sandy beaches. From the property, it’s easy to enjoy excursions to Robin Hood’s Bay, Staithes, and Scarborough (all within 20 miles).

The second-floor apartment is decorated in a contemporary style, with cool tones and elegant furniture creating a calm, relaxed vibe. Two flights of stairs lead to the accommodation, which has a bright, open-plan layout. Spend time in the lounge/kitchen/diner creating delicious dishes from local produce, dining together at the table by the window, or snuggling up on the plump sofa to watch a movie on the Smart TV. When it’s time for bed, retire to the inviting double bedroom, complete with a stylish shower room. There is no outside space with this property, but with the harbour and beach just a short stroll away, you’ll have plenty of choice when it comes to walks from your front door.

Head to the harbour to watch the fishing boats going about their day, or perhaps hop on a boat trip to go wildlife watching (there are regular sightings of seals, dolphins, and even whales off the coast). Whitby train station is just 400 metres from your front door. Here, you can board one of the heritage steam trains to head deep into the North York Moors, to explore the cute towns and villages or take long hikes through the unspoilt moorland. Alternatively, stride out on a coastal walk from Whitby, following The Cleveland Way to the idyllic smugglers’ haunt of Robin Hood’s Bay (6 miles).
