Flat 1 Martins House is a beautifully presented holiday home in the heart of Stow-on-the-Wold which sleeps four guests, in two stylish bedrooms, both with modern ensuite bathrooms. This sophisticated ground floor apartment features a calming interior with soft blues and pinks, creating a peaceful retreat for guests. The open plan kitchen, diner and sitting room offers a sociable space for cooking and relaxing, with elegant furnishings and thoughtful touches throughout. Outside, the quaint courtyard is perfect for morning coffees or evening drinks. Flat 1 Martins House welcomes one dog and is the ideal base for exploring the Cotswolds in comfort and style.

Flat 1 Martins House has a lovely garden for guests to enjoy and it is important to the owners that guests are courteous and considerate towards the neighbouring properties. We politely request that guests do not disturb the neighbours and that loud music is not played outside after 22:00
The Stow Horse Fair is held twice a year, typically on the Thursday closest to 12th May and the Thursday closest to 24th October, however, we would recommend checking the exact date ahead of placing your booking. This is a traditional fair for gypsies and travelling people to meet up and trade which dates back to 1476 when its Charter was granted. Stow is very busy for a day or two before and after each fair, and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants are closed. Whilst many visitors enjoy the colour and vibrancy associated with the fairs, other visitors prefer to avoid Stow on these dates

Beautifully decorated flat in a great location. Stow is an ideal spot from where you can easily explore the Cotswolds.

Really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at Flat 1 Martins House for four nights and couldn't fault it at all.Everything you would need is there,lovely and clean ,and the beds were so comfy. We were out of season,so it was very quiet.The welcome hamper was a nice gesture.

Escape to Elegance: A Dream Flat in the Heart of Stow

A fantastic flat in the heart of Stow, immaculate condition & decorated beautifully. We could not wish for anything more, with all the wonderful little villages surrounding & plenty of things to see & do, all this capped off with returning to the charming accommodation.

lovely apartment in great position. parking is a slight issue for the more infirm. bedrooms are spacious and very comfy. welcome pack and toiletries a nice touch,

Lovely cottage/flat

A beautiful cosy and clean flat/cottage . Slightly disappointing that it was situated on a busy road, although the location was central which was good . We had our elderly parents staying with us and as a suggestion I would recommend shower caddy’s in the shower’s to hold shower gels and shampoo etc, as they were unable to bend down to reach their toiletries which were placed in the shower tray . We stayed in the front bedroom as we had our dog with us, and there was no hanging space for cloths, which meant we were unable hang our cloths up. A few minor tweaks would have made our stay excellent at this property perfect .

Great, central apartment in Stow-on-the-Wold

Super comfortable apartment, as far as I could tell very newly renovated. Great location and a nice welcome box provided which was much appreciated. Fully fitted kitchen with excellent pots/pans/utensils so cooking dinners in was just like being at home. Highly recommend for a couple or two couples right in the centre of the town!

Great location

We enjoyed our stay at Martin‘s house. The property has been beautifully renovated and has a feel of luxury with beautiful furnishings and extremely comfortable beds and bedding especially pillows! Everything was immaculate and along with a generous welcome hamper and all necessities made for a relaxing stay. The owner gave us detailed instructions on how to find the property and was extremely helpful.Would recommend The Porch House for food,very friendly and good value and only a stones throw away.

Cosy, comfortable and central location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over Christmas in 1 Martins House. The flat although very small was beautifully presented, it was cosy and warm with a log burner adding to the ambiance. Hi spec. bathrooms and kitchen and tastefully decorated throughout. Very comfortable beds. The owner was easily contactable and helpful. Also conveniently situated in the centre of town, close to some excellent restaurants, we ate at the Old Porch House and the Old Butchers, both very good. Finding long term parking spaces was difficult, but did find space in the Old Wall street.

An Enjoyable Stay in Stow

A comfortable and relaxing stay at Flat 1 Martin House. Very well maintained and everything we needed. The flat is ideally located in the centre of Stow, good too for visiting other villages and we also got lucky with the on-street parking! A minor problem with the power supply in the second bedroom, which I suspect is temporary, and a little cramped for four and a dog! However, we were out and about for most of the time so that didn't spoil our enjoyment. Many thanks.

WOW! A Perfect Choice For Our Group!

Our group of 4 loved loved loved F1. As other reviewers have noted it's newly rehabbed and you can tell a lot of thought was put into the details. The kitchen was beautiful and well stocked, both with it appliances, cabinetry and as a bonus, the hosts left us a little starter of food items. Placed in a cute little picnic basket were a fresh loaf of bread, some coffee and a few other items. Such a nice touch. The bedrooms and living room were just adorable and the outdoor area was just what we needed for a pre dinner cocktail and a little bit of relaxation. The location couldn't have been better as the flat was located only about 3 blocks from public parking so we were able to park fairly close. All in all, we thought it was the perfect choice for our stay!
