The home was fantastic, the perfect size for us and the AC was great(super important to us). The only thing stopping us from a full five star was the bugs. The seal on the front door isn't the best, and with a massive ant mound outside we had a few issues. We LOVED the water pressure/temp in the shower! Christopher is extremely nice, attentive, and thoughtful. Especially offering us extra towels for our extended stay!!
The cabin was a perfect space to spend the weekend. It was a short beautiful drive outside of Sant Fe. Beautifully decorated and a full kitchen to cook our meals. In a quiet and peaceful area!
Wife and I had a lovely quiet stay. Christopher was very helpful and responded quickly to our questions. Everything was well organized for our arrival. Definitely recommended!
A simple cabin that made for a nice, quiet stay. We spent most of our time exploring the Santa Fe area, hiking, or riding bikes, but the Bishop's Hermitage was a great place to return each night. The grounds were fun to explore, especially with our dog, and the stars at night were amazing. We appreciated Christopher's recommendations prior to our stay (especially Harry's Roadhouse, only a 10 minute drive away).
Overall the stay was great! The directions to the overall location were perfect. I do wish there were directions once we got into the facility as it was tricky to find the individual cabin we stayed in (first building on the left past the gate). The directions that Apple Maps gave us didn't have the cabin in the right place which added to the confusion and we didn't have cell service in the area. Overall fantastic location in the mountain and beautiful scenery. The host was very kind and welcoming!
This was our second stay at this property; enjoyed a snowy New Year's retreat away from the city. Very clean property and is only about 10 miles from downtown Santa Fe for museums, restaurants and shopping. Kitchen is generally well supplied with dishes and cabin has adequate towels, sheets and blankets. Enjoyed Netflix and walks on the camp grounds. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
Traveling to our daughter in Colorado so spent only one night. All was good. Our only problem was getting dinner as closest restaurant was closed the day we were there. Otherwise all good.
The property was beautiful and nestled in a remote but still proximal location. It offered mountain views, absolute silence, and only 20 minutes to downtown. The host is extremely accomodating and responsive. Overall excelment value! I hope to stay here again on my next trip through Santa Fe.
We wanted a nice weekend getaway, someplace quiet, but not too far from the city. This fit the bill. The cabin was cozy, with a sweet little porch, plenty of towels, and luggage racks, which were very helpful. We enjoyed ambling around the property, and the city was only about 20 minutes away. Our host put a light on for us, and was responsive and helpful. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations, and went to Harry's twice, because PIE! Definitely recommend.
The place was pretty basic inside. I was expecting something a little more rustic on the inside from the looks of the cabin on the outside. I was a bit disappointed with the kitchen supplies as they were pretty bare as well. When we arrived there was about an inch of snow and ice on the front porch that we had to shovel before we unlocked the door. On the plus side it was in a remote area so the stars at night were beautiful
Unfortunately, we could not stay at this property and the property manager was kind enough to understand our dilemma. It is good to know that this person put customer service first. This was appreciated!
Location was good. Located somewhat in between our trip objectives. The small cabin was comfortable. Perfect for a couple get away. The cabin has some age and needed a little TLC. Plywood decking needed to be replaced as well as some lumber on the bench outside. Painting and caulking indoors could help with the wear on the inside. The time of year was perfect for leaving windows open at night. Cabin never got over 73 inside during day and down to 63 at night. They are pet friendly which is hard to find sometimes. Host was great.
Our stay at Bishops Ridge was comfortable and relaxing. It was a short scenic drive to town from Bishops Ridge that had amazing food. Our next visit to Santa Fe, we will definitely book this stay again.
