Perfect property for a large family. Excellent access to all of the village amenities and local walks. Property was clean and well presented - plenty of space for entertaining and relaxation.

Perfect Family Holiday

Thank you for a wonderful holiday. We had everything we needed, and we thoroughly enjoyed the village. We did lots of sightseeing, and a visit to Whitsand Bay is an absolute must. We had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend it to others.

What a beautiful House, we all loved it! The decor and comfort were amazing. The house is so well equipt and we loved playing Pool. We loved Kingsand and staying in Cliff House, was perfect and we will be returning. Rockpooling with the grandchildren, drinks and food in the Devonport! Great coffee & pastries for The Store.

Gorgeous Views

Lovely house with gorgeous views. Very luxurious feel as there were so many nice finer details such as,heated floors downstairs and in our bathroom, working fire heater in the dining room and lounge, and every price of cooking equipment you could need!. Every room had its own bathroom with a shower, and bed was very comfy.

Holiday with special friends

Cliff House is the most beautiful house. Every room is immaculate, with comfortable beds, luxury bedding, and everything is spotlessly clean. The Wi-Fi is excellent! There's a TV, games, and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. It truly is a home away from home—we loved it! The location is perfect, with beautiful walks right on the doorstep.

An amazing stay

The house is so beautiful, loads of space, well equipped kitchen and loads of bathrooms. Perfect for a large group. Location ideal, lovely views from the house and more or less on the SW coast path. We had a great weekend celebrating a big birthday, we especially liked the big table we could all sit together and eat at, and the pool table! The owners have thought of everything. The windows off the lounge need a bit of attention as they are showing signs of damage from the Cornish weather and age.

A beautiful holiday retreat

Cliff House is a stunning property that has been beautifully appointed in a relaxed luxurious style. It makes for easy living and accommodated our large family with ease. We all loved the comfortable beds with gorgeous bed linen, the games room that gave hours of entertainment, the beautiful view from the sitting room and the fabulous kitchen that was warm, light, well equipped and meant we could all be together. It was great to have a sofa in the kitchen, which the children loved snuggling up on! Everything was fabulous however a little more information in the book about the house would have been really useful. We weren’t sure about rubbish sorting and collection, use of the ceramic hob etc. Access to bin bags and tea towels would be helpful, however when we asked for extras the lovely housekeeper brought them round straight away. All in all a fabulous experience!

What a lovely week!

We had a lovely week at this beautiful spacious, well-equipped house. It has a luxurious feel, with thoughtful touches & high-end products. The beds were extremely comfortable with luxurious bedding & the bathrooms were amazing, stylish with thoughtful touches. Everything had been thought of when it came to what was provided in the house. The kitchen was well stocked, the utility with washer & dryer. We had everything we could have needed. The views were incredible looking out over the sea. A beautiful area to explore. We’d recommend visiting The Halfway House, The Bay, The Cove & the little gift shops. Finest Retreat was very responsive & helpful from start to finish. One note is that the driveway fits a large car2 small cars, getting in & out is tricky due to the narrow road being on a hill & cars parked just outside the entrance. We ended up parking in the nearby car park. Despite that, it's an enjoyable stay in a special place. We highly recommend for a peaceful coastal getaway

For this reason, we’ve now decided to offer the driveway space for unloading only, and we recommend guests use the nearby village car park, which is very conveniently located and reasonably priced.
