Baywatch Bungalow was the perfect spot for my boyfriend and I to stay while on vacation. It was close to all areas / districts of San Diego we wanted to explore, the property was extremely clean and seemed to be a pretty safe neighborhood. Stacey and Matt were both very friendly and accommodating. Their dog, Dude is super cute too! We would definitely recommend staying at Baywatch Bungalow!

It was great. So cute. Bigger than pictures make it look. Loved the deck to watch the fireworks from sea world. The bed was very comfy and big. The hosts responded promptly to questions.

Beautiful Getaway

The private bungalow is a wonderful way to spend the weekend in San Diego! The loft was clean, spacious, had all that you could need in the kitchen, as well as, the toiletries in the bathroom if you forget something. So easy to check in and everything was nearby. We didnt have to spend too much on uber rides. We loved our stay

Discover San Diego

This was the perfect location in a nice neighborhood in the middle of everything! We had towels toiletries and coffee supplies for the stay. The studio was large, clean, and perfect to relax in after a long day walking. Nightly fireworks are seen from the balcony at Sea World. A binder was full of housekeeping directions and recommendations. We will definitely be back.

Will stay here again

The property was even nicer than described. You have an entire patio to yourself, with a beautiful view of Mission Bay. The room itself is huge, giving us plenty of space to work remotely. Everything felt new and clean. It’s a safe neighborhood and a short walk to great restaurants, coffee, brewery, and grocers. Stacey and Matt were very communicative and made the check in process very easy, providing pictures ahead of time so we knew where to park.

Bungalow Blast

Fantastic spot! Close to all the attractions we planned to go to during our trip. Great communication. It was chilly so we didn’t spend time on the deck but the view was beautiful regardless. Parking was simple and always had access which can be a challenge in SD. Dude the dog was a cutie pie! This was my first experience with VRBO. 10/10 and I hope to rebook in the future!

Perfect weekend Getaway

Superb location close to beach , restaurants and local shops. Excellent communication and greeted by their gorgeous Labrador “Dude”. Shower is out of this world and all kitchen needs are provided for meals in house . I will definitely love to stay again !

Clean, bright, spacious, comfortable. Only downside is the tiny parking spot - the car sticks out into the alley, which we were a little uncomfortable with.

Charming, Cozy, and Perfectly Located – A Dream Stay!

Absolutely amazing stay! From the moment we arrived, this charming bungalow loft exceeded all expectations. The space was described perfectly in the listing, but stepping inside, it was even better than we could have imagined. The open-plan design maximized the natural light, making it feel airy, warm, and inviting.The loft had a fresh, beach-inspired vibe, with soft blues and whites throughout that instantly made us feel relaxed and at ease. The airy space, paired with subtle coastal touches, made it feel like we were at a serene seaside retreat. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made preparing meals a breeze.Our host Stacey & Matt was simply exceptional. They were friendly, accommodating, and made sure we had everything we needed. From quick, helpful responses to thoughtful recommendations on things to do around town, they went above and beyond to make our stay perfect.The location was ideal too—quiet, yet close enough to all the best spots in town. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway that feels like home but with a touch of charm and relaxation, this bungalow loft is the place to be! We enjoyed our stay! It was very clean, and the bed was amazing! The pull-out bed was also very nice for my daughter when she spent a night with us! This unit had great amenities and our hosts were awesome! Also, very happy about the gas grill and out door furniture.

Wonderful first experience!

This was our first time with VRBO and we were very impressed with this property and our hosts. Stacey and Matt were welcoming and available, but not at all intrusive. The space was over the garage, and beautifully decorated, very clean, and well stocked with essentials and amenities. We especially enjoyed the king-sized TempurPedic mattress, the beautiful bathroom with extra-large shower head, and the large screen tv. We also loved the location, as it was in a quiet neighborhood, but only minutes from Sea World, Balboa Park, and Old Town. We ate at two local restaurants recommended by the hosts and they were both delicious. Both my husband and myself would whole-heartedly recommend this property, and will stay again when next we make it to beautiful San Diego!

Great spot for a getaway!

Really enjoyed staying here for a fun weekend getaway. The place is in a very quiet neighborhood, private, easy access, centralized to really anywhere you need to go. Stacey & Matt are great hosts, quick to respond, gave very easy directions before arriving, and definitely take care of the place and make it feel inviting. I'd recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Awesome Place

My husband and I stayed at the Bay Watch Bungalow from October 16th - October 23rd. We loved this place! Everything was exactly as advertised. We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious this place was. It was bright, clean and was move in ready. It had everything you needed plus more. Stacey was great! She was quick to answer any questions we had and offered great advice on places to see during our stay. We would highly recommend this place to family and friends and hope to return soon. Thanks Stacey and Matt!

Not shown, but has a huge closet for unpacking and the bathroom has a beautiful large shower. We meet the hosts and Dude, they were all lovely. The weather was so beautiful, the patio view wqs beautiful, the loft was beautiful and so much more spacious than the pictures show. Very close to a small family owned coffee shop, walking distance!! Please consider this beautiful bungalow for your San Diego trips!

Location was perfect

We stayed here for a volleyball tournament at USD. Loved the space; we took advantage of the kitchen amenities and sat on the deck in the evenings for a great view of the bay. I would say it was a 5-10 minute drive to Mission Bay Beach, Old Town, Pacific boardwalk or USD, depending on day & time. The hosts were super easygoing, informative and accommodating. Not to mention their dog Dude is a sweetheart. We would stay here again if we are ever in the area..

San Diego trip

We stayed here for a week. The accommodation is a large studio above the garage. It is quiet, spacious, bright, comfortable and super clean. The bed and furniture are very comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed. Its location is handy to Interstate 5 which makes many parts of San Diego easily accessible, including the zoo, the airport and Seaworld. Stacey and Matt are gracious and helpful hosts. I would highly recommend staying here.

Matt is a retired Captain from the San Diego Fire Department and Stacey works part-time. We love to travel, surf, ski, golf, camp, hike, eat (we’re serious foodies), drink wine and go on new adventures! We look forward to sharing our loft and neighborhood with you. Our spacious studio loft is quaint, beachy and comfortable with an outdoor deck overlooking Mission Bay, the surrounding area, and Sea World fireworks.
