Close walk to ocean., .comfortable for all 6 of us! Downside was the busy road and no space for kids to play. Also, Could have used more towels…upside, hosts very nice and we were able to check in early…

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We're so glad you found the home comfortable for your group and enjoyed the easy walk to the ocean. It was our pleasure to accommodate an early check-in, and we're happy we could help make your arrival a little easier. We also appreciate your feedback about the towels and the outdoor space. We'll certainly take the towel suggestion into consideration for future guests. While we can't change the location or the nearby road, we understand that families with young children may prefer more yard space, and we appreciate you mentioning it for future travelers. Thank you again for staying with us. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future!

This house was a perfect place for our family. There were 6 adults and a 14 month old and there was plenty of space. The house was comfortable and had a well equipped kitchen. It was close to everything and we even walked the stroller down to Crescent Beach. Christine was thorough with all my questions. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place for a family getaway. The house was clean and tidy and our host, Christine, replied to our questions very quickly and she made sure we had everything we needed. The listing was very accurate except it was actually nicer than the photos showed. We would definitely stay again in the future.

Thank you for a great stay

Celebrated my 40th birthday here and it was a wonderful location. The property is great for families traveling together as they all have their own separate space and patios. The location makes travel to wells, york, ogunquit and kennebunkport very easy. Highly recommend.

Five Stars

Beautiful property with excellent location. The house is very spacious and has more than enough room for a big family. We had a 3 year old and 1.5 year old with us and the layout was very child friendly as well. The hosts were very kind and quick to respond to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Very clean and spacious - loved the side deck and table. We love walking in Maine so getting to the beach was no problem and the week we went had plenty of parking. If you are travelling with someone with mobility issues you should know that the shower with bench is preformed but a portable bench will fit if needed -- also, it is a step down to each of the decks.

Great family vacation!

The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We were two families staying there and had plenty of space. It was in a wonderful neighborhood and a quick walk to the beach. The location was perfect right in the middle of everything with quick rides to the beach, restaurants, shops and the grocery store. The description of the house was accurate and communication was great! We had an amazing stay and would do it again.

The Soleil cottage was very nice and welcoming. Overall very satisfied with our stay in late August 2026. House is a great location to multiple beaches; 2.3 miles from North Beach (Ogunquit), 5 min drive to Wells Beach and 15 min drive to Drake Island Beach. Communication: the host was really good and pro-active and re-active as needed. She called us one hour before check-in time to let us know the house was ready for us. Amenities: pretty on point. Minus one or two things such as no AC units in master bedroom and second bedroom. Portable AC in 3rd bedroom. AC is in the main living room space so this is pretty important to be aware of but it does absolutely keep the living room area quite cool. 2 of the 3 bedrooms do have ceiling fans. Kitchen: well stocked. Living room area- lots of space. Back deck: very good. Bathrooms- super small. I couldn’t imagine being more than 6 people in the house with the two bathrooms. Showers are stall and quite small, especially the master bedroom. Additional amenity: large tv’s in living room, master bedroom and 3rd bedroom. Thank you for our stay.

Perfect rental property for large family

We just got home from our week's stay here. The house was great for my husband, our 3 kids, and my sister and brother in law to stay at for our vacation. The owners have thought about everything you might need while you stay at their house. Very spacious house which comes in handy in case of unpleasant weather. Great location for the beach and ice cream. Thank you for providing the perfect rental house for our first vacation in over 5 years!

Christine is the most gracious host. Her communication is spot on and the house is as described. It is a bright lovely home with ample space and parking. There are games, books, plenty of utensils and kitchen items. We were able to get a few veggies from the garden. Such a welcoming treat! Having the washer and dryer available are a huge bonus! Would recommend this house for your next relaxing get away!

Vacation by the Beach

This was our first VRBO rental and we were so happy with our experience. The house is beautiful - very clean and organized. Christine ( our host) thought of everything - right down to Aloe in case of too much sun! The house is a short walk to the beach in one direction and a short walk to grab an Ice Cream in another. The neighborhood is great. Overall wonderful!!!

Another wonderful visit!

This was our third year in a row returning to Christine’s property in Wells, and like the two previous summers, we had a wonderful stay. The house is beautifully appointed and well-maintained. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is perfect, on a quiet street and with easy access to much that the area has to offer. Christine does a wonderful job keeping in touch and making us feel welcome. Little wonder we keep coming back!

Another wonderful stay

Based on our experience last year, we came back to the cottage this summer for another two-week stay. The house is a perfect spot for our multi-generational gathering: spacious and comfortable with lots of natural light and multiple outdoor decks. Very clean and well equipped. An easy drive to lots of destination spots plus walking distance to the water. Christine is super attentive and easy to work with. So glad we found this place!
