Situé entre Gold Beach et Brookings, le West Cove House se trouve sur un domaine privé de 3 000 acres @ Crock Point Vacations à Pistol River, dans l'Oregon. Cette maison de deux chambres et deux salles de bains offre une vue imprenable sur l’océan, un bain à remous extérieur privé, une grande cheminée en pierre, une cuisine joliment équipée, un lave-linge, de nombreux sièges confortables dans le salon / salle à manger et de superbes vues. Profitez d'un accès privé à la plage dans une charmante crique. Un total de 4 maisons sont situées sur ce site à Burnt Hill Beach. Nous acceptons les animaux domestiques. Les membres de la famille sont donc les bienvenus!

Nous avons commencé une relation avec une entreprise de kayak locale, Wilderness Canyon Adventures, dirigée par Luke Martinez de Pistol River. Il propose des excursions directement sur nos plages privées exclusivement pour les clients de Crook Point. Vous pouvez pagayer avec les baleines grises qui migrent au large des côtes, pêcher des vivaneaux ou de la morue lingue ou tout simplement prendre la pagaie dans des grottes marines au large des côtes. Ceci est une excursion incroyable et un moyen merveilleux de profiter de notre littoral unique et majestueux. The host and housekeeping were really helpful and welcoming. The house was clean and I appreciate the thoughtful amenities. The coffee pot with coffee, decaf, and regular, and the electric tea kettle. My husband, Adult, Daughter, and myself stayed with our dogs. We had the beach to ourselves as I don’t think there were many other renters in the other cottages. The views are expensive from the living room and the private master suite and private suite below the living room. My daughter appreciated the private suite downstairs with the Jacuzzi bathtub. And a view of the ocean. We had sunshine and rain and took advantage of the beautiful beach and paths in the small community. There are doggy bags on the outside complementary, which was nice. I love the deck and the chairs were comfortable and they reclined. The leather couches in the living room were very comfortable for reading and watching TV and observing the wonderful views. The beds were firm, but also soft and I haven’t slept better while traveling, and I especially appreciated the pillow size, and how soft and flat they squished down. There’s nice gas fireplace. My husband made a frittata in the dish-ware, and it was clean and easy to clean using the dishwasher or by hand and plenty of soap for both. What else the new Apple TV was easy to access we ended up watching the Dodgers and the TV is new. The master had a very large walk-in shower and a private toilet, which was nice and the shower was wonderful!

Serenity at the Beach

The West Cove property was absolutely wonderful. The house was very comfortable, the view’s absolutely fantastic and the sound of the ocean was so soothing.Great hot tub with beautiful view of the ocean. There is a very easy trail to get down to the private beach.

An absolute Hidden Gem

My spouse, three teenage children, and I stayed at this breathtaking home for 4 days. It was one of the most memorable and incredible stays. The house is immaculate, and the view from both bedrooms is like no other. The private beach on the property is what sold me, and it is a short 5-minute walk from the house. Also, the hot tub is placed perfectly! Again, with such a fantastic view, it's hard to want to leave the hot tub.We will be booking many more stays here. Especially during the summer, without question!

Perfect for our needs. Secluded but clean. Private beach, Comfy beds, close enough to see the redwoods when we had a rainy day. The hot tub was private and awesome!

Fabulous Pacific Ocean View

This is a wonderful get away place located on a private beach on the ocean. The breakers and waves were spectacular to listen to and watch. The night sky was filled with stars and constellations. The house is nicely appointed with beautiful views and comfortable seating areas. We loved it!

Everything about the property and view were very nice. Wr never used the hot tub as it was too cold to get to it hahaha. The upstairs bed had a bit of a dip in the middle but Everything else was top notch.

Wife’s birthday week on the coast

My wife turned __ this past week and we’ve started a relatively new tradition of spending her birthday week at a beach house. We’re from California and have done from Monterey to Ft. Bragg and everything in between the past 6-7 years. This year she wanted to venture to the north coast and so we found this listing. It was perfect for our family. So much to do around this area. We enjoyed hacking along the coast, redwoods, our private beach with fire pit, and the town of Brookings was perfect. I was extremely impressed with Fred Meyer lol as we do not have that chain in Cali. Was able to catch a memorial weekend Azalea festival which included a parade and lots of vendors, food, car show, and music! It was a perfect week for sure! Thank you host for allowing us to stay at your listing! We had a blast!

Dramatic location

Our arrival coincided with the atmospheric river which brought torrential rain to the area. The wind and rain were a bit scary at times, but the house was snug and the views were impressive. The kitchen was outfitted to the nines, the bed was comfy, the bathroom/shower wonderful; there was a dressing room area that was great for luggage/clothes. We did see a glimpse of sun and actually a rainbow the morning we left. Simply beautiful!

Thanksgiving at the Ocean

The house is beautiful! The view was the most amazing I have ever had in a rental house. It was spacious, nicely up graded. The trail down in needs a little love. But everything else was wonderful. We had quite a storm on Thanksgiving and the powder went out but there were supplies for that and a good fireplace we used. When we go again I will differently stay there.

The location is as good as we've found in 35 years of exploring the Oregon Coast! Guests should expect world class views and superb privacy. Still, temper the expectations. The shower and soaker tub are first class. Big there’s no hot water available and precious little warm. Guests may be able to manage a shower—but not a tub soak. Think “cabin in the woods.” Overall—brilliant. Still…

Gorgeous Views

This property is an A plus if you want to see and hear the ocean waves all day and all night. Really beautiful cove. Comfortable seating in living and dining. Beds were comfortable. Easy walk to beach. Excellent deck to gaze and bbq from. The WiFi was troublesome at first but with a reset it worked on the third day. Kayla was available by text whenever we needed an answer. My recommendations for this property would be giving more accurate directions upon arrival. The directions say second right. If you are literal you will take the second right and risk your vehicle on a very steep and with loose gravel road (that turns out NOT to be second right). It should read take your Third right. This may prevent an accident from happening. That steep loose gravel drive should be roped off in red. So scary! Don’t use it! I have an SUV and it almost slid off the edge and rolled. Aside from that stressful incident the house is a definite beach front house worth it if you want to be close to waves. There were fly strips that could have been hidden a little better. They obstructed the gorgeous views out the window. The downstairs bedroom was full of flys each morning. Quite odd for ocean front. Not sure where they were getting in either? So I would suggest a pest spray to eliminate need for smelly fly strips. Again, thoroughly enjoyed the views and the house. Thanks Kayla.

Thank you for your feedback. The fly issue is a seasonal one and we hate the fly strips too but certainly don't want to spray chemicals on our property. Our water is from a spring onsite and our family wants to keep things as natural as possible. The road is a bit steep getting to the West Cove and we have that road there to give other guests at the Headland more privacy so cars aren't driving in front of them. We certainly understand your concerns. The wifi is tricky and we only installed it in 2018. The modems usually need to be rebooted and then you are good to go. Ocean front getaway

We were looking for a place on the beach that was dog friendly. That’s how we found crooks point. We can’t say enough of how much we enjoyed our stay. Let’s say, enough that we asked if we could extend our stay and we were granted our request! The place and people were just wonderful.

Incredible coastal and ocean view

We loved watching a storm blow in from our perch looking South along the Brookings coast. We were warm and snug in the Crook Point cabin. Perfect for two couples. We will be back!

This is our second time staying at this property and we can’t say enough! Beautiful surroundings, lovely hikes, almost your own private beach, starfish hunting, relaxing hot tub and lovely sunsets. I highly recommend this wonderful place!
