Upstairs, the living room is both tastefully styled and comfortably furnished, with a wood-burning stove and underfloor heating for the cooler months. French doors open out to the attractive tiered garden which creates that all-important indoor/outdoor living, and a spacious kitchen/diner off the lounge is fully equipped for home cooking and entertaining.

The garden's lower terrace is furnished with an outdoor suite so you can while away the hours in the sunshine, with a bench on the top patio being the perfect place to sit and enjoy a glass of bubbly while watching the sun set over the sea.

Characterised by narrow winding lanes, granite cottages and sparkling views over the bay, Mousehole is a magical place which, for its size, has a surprising number of excellent eateries, lifestyle shops and galleries. The postcard-perfect harbour is a couple of minutes' walk from the cottage and here you can enjoy a refreshing sea swim, sunbathing or a stroll along the seawall with an ice-cream. For farther-flung adventure, Mounts Bay offers plenty to do and see, with Marazion's big sandy beach and St Michael's Mount being just 20 minutes by car, and the wonderful Porthcurno and The Minack Theatre being just 25 minutes' drive.
