Big enough for four, all the facilities were there for cooking and washing. All cleaning products provided and a lovely gift hamper. Overall very relaxing holiday!
A lovely cottage with everything we needed and in a fantastic location. We swam in the harbour every morning. An incredibly friendly welcome from Patricia with a thoughtful and generous welcome pack plus Easter eggs.
We'd definitely come back again.
We enjoyed our stay in Little Dorrit, which is located in the heart of Mousehole and a good home base for day trips around Cornwall. Patricia was quick to respond and allowed us access when we turned up earlier than expected. We had a lovely welcome pack of essentials (including some fizz!) and the cottage was picturesque and clean, We had a nice holiday in spite of some rain, and would gladly return.
We had a great week staying at Little Dorritt. The property is right next to the harbour and made a perfect base for touring the area. We were please with the nice welcome pack providing basics after our long journey. The cottage has a lovely old world charm but also had all the facilities that we needed. Parking is limited in Mousehole but we were always able to find a space. We would definitely recommend Little Dorritt
We booked as a last minute holiday to escape the madness of building works at home and we had a fabulous time.
The cottage was exactly as described and the welcome pack was tailored to the fact that we had little ones with us too - really lovely touch.
The location is excellent right on the harbour side with everything Mousehole has to offer literally on the doorstep!
Our dealings with Patricia were all online due to work commitments but any questions and queries were answered in a. speedy manner.
Would absolutely recommend the cottage and hope to visit again, Mousehole is a great place for all the family!
Pros: Just as shown in pics. Beautifully articulated. Right in The center of the village near the little harbor. Town is friendly with several decent spots to eat and drink. Convenient to larger towns of Newlyn and Penzance by walk, car or little shuttle bus.
Cons (few): a little smaller than expected. Right on busy road/path. Washer dryer was small. Shower was small. (All minor things that are easily dealt with.) Cheers
The cottage is in a superb location, just walk out on to the harbour and a couple of doors down from the pub, but no noise. A few yards more and youâre at the restaurants.
The cottage is clean, comfortable and homely, with everything you need. Good WiFi and smart tvs.
The host provided some lovely appreciated personalised touches. Look forward to returning.
The home was just as had been described on the site. It was well located and equipped. The host communicated immediately with us when we had questions. I would recommend this home highly.
Excellent stay in a seaside village lost in time....
The property is excellent: clean, tidy and well equipped; communication with the owners is quick and efficient, plenty of parking just one minute away - thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property and owners for others to book.
We had a fantastic honeymoon in Devon and Cornwall. Two nights at the Burgh Island Hotel, one night in Marazion and then a wonderful chilled, relaxing week at Patricia's lovely cottage. The weather was incredible for March, we were sunbathing on the harbour beach. The cottage is perfectly located, very close to the harbour side. Pub on one side, sustainable delicatessen on the other. So much to do within a short drive. We paddle-boarded in Mousehole harbour and at Sennen Cove, watched Superstition Mountain, by starlight, at the MInack Theatre, bought a beautiful Janet Judge watercolour at Mullion Cove, swam at Kynance Cove (for stong swimmers only, there is an undertow) and visited St Michaels Mount. We were able to park on the harbour every night, although a good stock of ÂŁ1 and ÂŁ2 coins is essential, as the machines often won't authorise card payments. All in all a fantastic start to married life.
Perfect little sailors cottage right at the front of the harbour. If youâre looking for a traditional holiday experience this is the place for you. Also, Patricia was extremely friendly and always available to help. We highly recommend.
Had a wonderful week in the cottage. All lovely and clean on arrival with a sweet welcome gift.
No trouble parking everyday on the A Quay parking.
Thank you Patricia wonderful host.
Patricia made our stay as easy as possible. The cottage was beautiful and in an ideal position. Very comfortable and everything you need.
The owner provided tea, coffee, biscuits and a bottle of champagne which was a lovely surprise.
Parking can be an issue as the two quayside car parks are cheap and therefore very busy with not many spaces. There is a bigger car park on the main road but 3x more for 24 hours.
The Ship Inn serves great food and is two doors down.
Would write more but we arrived on Saturday and had to leave after 3 days due to illness.
Very much appreciate Patricias assistance, very nice lady.
Little Dorrit was the perfect cottage for our stay in Cornwall. Quaint with lots of antiques/artefacts we were literally steps away from the harbour. We received a a warm welcome on check in with nice touches to start us off (fizz, biscuits and milk!) Patricia was on hand to offer mid stay cleaning/bed linen during our 4 week stay. We miss it already!
Weâve just returned from a weeks stay at Little Dorit Cottage . It was absolutely fantastic . Patricia is the most wonderful thoughtful host. The cottage is in a perfect location in the harbour and was spotless. We cannot thank you enough. Mousehole is a magical place. I would advise booking any local restaurants well before your trip as they get booked up . The Kings Arms and 2 Fore St did wonderful food. If you are feeling adventurous the coastal path to Lamorna Cove is absolutely breathtaking but quite an advanced walk. Will most definitely be coming back
Thank you

Me and my family had the best time at Patriciaâs cottage! The location is absolutely perfect- right on the harbour and is a real treasure trove inside. Patricia was so on the ball with COVID precautions, and was kind enough to get some bits in for us and have the heating and fire on for us arriving. We would definitely stay again, it was the perfect base to explore Cornwall during the day and relax at night. Thanks Patricia!
