The kitchen dining area, painted in restful shades including barley white, includes a beautiful sink area with smeg dishwasher, plenty of storage cupboards, kitchen utensil, pans, cleaning items and glassware.
The spacious drawers and cupboards with cutlery and wedgewood crockery, all manner of knives and other kitchen equipment.
There is a smeg hob with extractor fan, complimentary tea, coffee and sugar, and overhead cupboards providing plenty of storage.
There is a fridge/freezer provided.

A gorgeous kitchen table with comfortable chairs allows guests to enjoy their meals overlooking the patio.
The kitchen dining area spreads effortlessly into the spacious lounge area complete with three-piece suite surrounding the log burner (timber provided).
There is a wall mounted tv, a magazine rack, a sideboard including games and our visitor book and welcome information.
The slate floor which extends throughout the property is part of the underfloor heating system which provides ample heat during cold weather.
Local artists feature on the dark sage walls beneath the original beamed ceiling.
A coffee table with rug provides a place to put coffee mugs or wine glasses as guests relax and unwind.
To the rear of the kitchen dining area are French doors which open out onto a private patio which includes the private hot tub beneath a pergola and fairy lights.

Swallows Nest is named after the graceful birds who return to us each Spring and Summer.

The private hot tub has its own pergola with fairy lights and is for guest usage throughout their stay.
Humble Bee Farm itself includes three beautiful circular farm walks, an onsite shop/reception, The Hive Café Bar (open at selected times), a duckpond, a play area, the Reflection Garden, and at certain times of year we also host onsite events such as Lambing, Punch and Judy, Circus Sensations Face Painting sessions, Alpaca Adventures, Pumpkin Patch and Spooky Trail, Bonfire Night, and Christmas events.
Nearby there is a host of attractions which will suit a wide variety of tastes.
From stately homes to ancient castles, from aquariums to water adventures, and from steam trains to pirate ships, it’s just a question of what to do first.
The places to visit include Castle Howard, local beaches at Scarborough and Filey, RSPB Bempton Cliffs, North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
If you prefer to stay onsite, then guests can join Farmer Percy on his rounds at 9am each morning, when he feeds the animals
These include hens, goats, alpacas, guineapig and donkeys.
Tilly the Shetland Pony is also a star member of the Farmyard Gang and you can book to walk or groom Tilly during your stay. Swallows Nest Cottage is open all year and includes underfloor heating which will keep you warm during colder weather. Superfast WiFi is included. As well as the Hive café bar for pizza nights and light bites, there are plenty of places to eat nearby.
