A luxury 2 bed beach house or lodge that sleeps 6 guests in 2 bedrooms

Seashell Cove Beach House is situated on Blue Anchor Road, a favourite location with Bay regulars as it is close to the beach, tennis court, playground and village centre, but also very private.

Enter through the side door into the spacious open plan living area. To the right is the large kitchen with all the appliances you need. To the left is the dining space. And in front, there are 2 sofas and an armchair set around the coffee table and log burner.

From the living space, there are large bifold doors onto the front deck, ideal for catching the afternoon and evening sun.

Down the hall, there are two bedrooms. Master bedroom with king bed and ensuite wet room room, and second bedroom with twin 2ft 6 single beds (can be joined to make a kingsize bed), with an ensuite with bath tub and rainfall shower over.

One of the sofas in the living room is also a small double sofa bed on request.

Off-road parking for 2 cars. Log burner and underfloor heating make Seashell Cove cosy for breaks all year round. Ceiling fans in all rooms for the summer too.

Accessibility

Please note the path leading up to the property is on a slight incline. The driveway/path sleepers can also be uneven and slippery when wet and therefore this property may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.

We have stayed many times at the bay filey the sea shell cove is the best lodge we have stayed in .it has everything you need near to all the facilities very clean we will be defintely be booking again .Paula was excellent from booking us in and keeping us informed about everything

Little Gem of a place

We have stayed here several times this year and love it. I took my mum and dad for a treat to celebrate my mums 80th birthday, they loved it. The lodge has excellent facilities and has lovely touches. The log burner was lovely to chill with a glass of mulled wine and made it so cosy on a winters night. Filey is a cute sea side resort and offers good boutique shops, cafes, bars and some lovey restaurants, which I close by. If you want to eat in there is plenty of takeaway services that deliver to the lodge

Fabulous stay

We had wonderful stay at Seashell Cove a Beautiful property near to all amenities and can’t fault it at all It was lovely to meet Lyn the owner when we arrived It was fantastic weather and was refreshing to sit on the sunny decking on comfortable seating instead of wooden or plastic furniture The jar of dog treats was also a lovely touch for furry friends We will definitely be back

A lovely week

The property is really well appointed and gives a genuine beach house feel throughout. Spacious living areas coupled with outdoor decking provide plenty of room to relax in. The overhead fans are a welcome feature too. A lovely property within a very short walk to the resort amenities. The walk to the cove is around ten minutes. Recommended.

A very relaxing haven.

This beach house has got the wow factor. The design of the building provides lots of space for cooking, eating and relaxing. There are two generous sized bedrooms and two large bathrooms, one being en-suite and the other a very clever “ Jack and Jill “ arrangement. The light floods into the property enhanced by the vaulted ceiling in the main living area. There is amble parking and all the amenities are only a few minutes away. We had a lovely 6 days enjoying the stunning beach, coastal walks and enjoying the charm of the town of Filey. SeaShell Cove is a real gem.

Would highly recommend!

We came for a long weekend as a group of 3 couples. Seashell cove was absolutely perfect for us. The lodge is decorated beautifully and has everything we couldn’t wanted and more! It was spotless & so cosy especially with the log burner. The location is great and we enjoyed some lovely walks on the beach. We are already looking to book here again, we can’t wait! Thank you x

Gorgeous lodge home from home

This is the second time we have stayed here, it’s one of the best lodges we have stayed in at the Bay, it’s clean with lovely furnishings, the beds are very comfortable. It is well stocked with plenty of crockery and cooking equipment. It is well maintained and such a wonderful place to come and relax. The outside area is brilliant at the front and back of the property with a lovely seating area at the front and the back. It’s lovely to open the French windows of the bedrooms and have a lovely seating area to relax or have breakfast. Can’t wait to go back for an autumn stay.

Absolutely Beautiful

This has got to be our favourite property on The Bay so far (and we’ve stayed in a few!) The owners have thought of literally EVERYTHING you could possibly need, for a short or a long stay. The property was immaculately presented, very clean and comfortable and we would return in a heartbeat. This was our first stay in Seashell Cove and it definitely won’t be our last! You would need to book this property yourself, to appreciate just how beautiful it is! As always, thank you to Paula at Filey Bay Direct, for securing our last minute break.

First of Many Stays (we hope!)

We stayed in December and Seashell Cove had not one, but 3 lit Christmas trees to greet us which was a lovely touch. The layout and furniture made the property feel a lot larger than 2 bedrooms, which was appreciated with our dogs. It is really rare to get a bath in a beach house on Filey Bay and my mum really enjoyed it. We want to say a big thank you for our splendid Welcome Pack, the cleanliness and the excellent communication. Everything we needed in Seashell Cove was easy to find and all the useful information was provided before we arrived, (e.g. keysafe code, wi fi code, warning to be careful on the sleepers) so there was not the usual fumbling in the cold to get it and settle down. This was our first stay with Filey Bay Direct and our first and Seashell Cove - as the title says, it won't be the last!
