Sophie's Beach House is situated on Turnberry Drive, close to the beach path and amenities. With extra touches including netflix and your own EV charger, it's a perfect base for exploring and relaxing.

Enter through the side door into the hallway with coat storage. To your right are the master bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite shower room, and the second bedroom with two small (2ft6) single beds which can be pushed together as a kingsize (single duvets). There is also another shower room with jack-and-jill doors.

To the left is the open-plan kitchen / dining / lounge space with bifold doors to the deck with seating, ideal for alfresco dining.

The log burner makes this beach house warm and cosy for breaks all year round.

This property benefits from a blockpaving driveway with parking for 2 cars and an EV charger - just sign up to the app on arrival and charge when you like!

A fantastic location and great accomodation

The acconodation was spot on and had everything we needed. The site had great facitilies, a few minutes walk away. The location ig great for exploring the east coast and indalt to great cities such as York. Would I recommend - YES Would I stay there again - YES

We have stayed at the bay many times in various properties and Sophie‘s beach house was definitely up there with the best. A great location and very clean!

Excellent property. Real value for money.

Have stayed here several times. No complaints. Location very good. Cleanliness exceptional. Everything provided home from home. Customer service excellent. Can’t think of anything negative.

The bay never disappoints and the cabin was no exception well laid out, meets all your requirements a real plus is the paved driveway rather than the sleeper which can be sleep Close to main shop , bar and main road to beach highly recommend

Stay at Sophies beach house

Had a lovely stay, just needed more privacy on the decking, has it was quite open and felt on view all the time for passes by..Both bathrooms and paint work throughout needed a bit of attention. Other than that it was well equiped and had everything you would need.Paula was excellent.

A beautiful lodge in a fantastic location

Sophie’s beach house has everything you need for a comfortable stay in Filey. It is close to the beach / amenities and beautifully furnished. It’s an ideal base for visiting local areas. Dog friendly. The electric vehicle charging point is a welcome addition. There is everything you need in the house. It is immaculately clean and well maintained.

Perfect few days break in our favorite place

Sophies Beach House is perfectly located on the site. Close to the beach and all the amenities. The standard of the finish inside the home feels luxury but cozy and comfortable. We have stayed at ALOT of properties on The Bay and this was is definitely up there with one of our favs. We will be back We didn't want to come hope

Sophie's beach house

We stayed at Sophie's beach house for 3 days in March. Overall good location - near to the beach and shops on site. Ideal if you have an EV as charger on premises. Could do with a repaint as looking a bit tired inside. Beds comfortable and all necessary kitchen items available.

Our Stay at Sophie's Beach House

This was the second time we stayed at The Bay but the first at Sophie's Beach house. The location is spot on and a beautiful area to stay in. The property we stayed in last year was stunning extremely well kitted out for a family with a Dog and had a welcome pack which was really appreciated. I dint think it cost much to pop a pint of milk in the fridge yo be honest and its the little touches that make you book again. All this was lacking at Sophie's. There was no welcome pack and only 1 toilet roll for 2 bathrooms. We recieve 2 the next day. We found the house to be small and it felt cramped unfortunately. When I moved the sofa to retrieve something I had dropped it was thick with dust and was unpleasant. We did have a lovely stay that said and will return to The Bay but would stay in our original house. Paula customer service is very good and we have no complaints there at all. Perhaps we were just spoilt by our previous stay.

Thanks for taking time to feedback on your experience, even though the score is disappointing. All provisions and supplies are clearly outlined before arrival, and the property size and layout are accurately shown in the listing photos. We welcome suggestions and continuously aim to enhance the guest experience. However, we trialled fresh milk last summer holidays, but after buying 400 pints of milk we did not receive a single comment to indicate it was appreciated and in many cases we found it was unused, so we will not be adding it routinely to our FBD properties.

Perfect stay in Filey

Sophie’s beach house is immaculate and in the perfect location for the beach and amenities. Very well maintained with everything you could ever need. They allow dogs and have an electric vehicle charger which is simple to use. I would recommend a stay here. Stacey Chappell

Lovely beach house

I have been to The Bay many times over the years, but this was my first time at Sophie's beach house. It was helpful being so close to the pub, shop and pharmacy. The main bed was very comfortable and I slept well. I would recommend to anyone wanting to be near the beach and amenities.

Great place to stay for a short break

We really enjoyed our stay and would return again for a short break. It is relatively small and we took our two grandkids with us which meant we had stuff everywhere with no real storage space but we new that before we booked so I'm not complaining but merely pointing it out. Location is great and we felt very comfortable there and everything was clean and tidy. I have an Hybrid car so the inclusion of a charging point was great and it worked well. Don.t know where the public charging points are because I never saw them so a private charging was very convenient and the prices were reasonable. Would recommend.

Very clean except the outside seating area could do with a little attention tidying up . I

The TV an are very small .The vacuum needs replacing it’s not picking up at all . Very clean but starting to show maybe needs a lick of paint inside before it starts looking shabby. Beds are very comfortable .

Easter break

My husband and I have just returned from Sophie’s Beach House. The house has all the amenities needed with enough room to ensure a pleasant stay. Bed is comfortable. The house is sited just opposite the junction for the beach so has lots of passer-by's this maybe a problem if you are looking at sitting outside and want some peace. The EV charger worked well which is a great addition if you have an electric car. WiFi was hit and miss and had problems with many of the tv channels but as we were out most of day n night it wasn’t to concerning for us. There is plenty to do in the area and lots of good places to eat. We had a great stay and would return.

After our recent stay at Sophie’s beach hot had a good few days away.

We had a lovely stay in Sophie’s beech hut. It was handy having two bathrooms, everywhere including bedding towels etc were spotless. It was so close to the beech, our dogs thoroughly enjoyed their beech fun. However, I’d like to point out the sofa wasn’t too comfortable, when you sat down up right, you slid down. Apart from that it was very nice. I’ll give 5 stars. You may see us again in the future.

Goldfish bowl

This beach house is perfect if you have a dog, its only 5 mins from the beach. If you don't have a dog I feel this is not for you, the reason I say this is this, the beach house is great, spotless and has everything you need for a short break, the beds are comfy and the showers are warm. The only thing which lets this beach house down is the location of the house itself, it is situated right on the junction of the beach road and the road through the site, therefore all the dog walkers congregate at the junction before heading down to the beach, so from 8am until 9pm there are people and barking dogs outside the front of the house, the beach house would benefit from having some net curtains in the front main window because all the dog walkers just stand there looking in the house, so you end up having the curtains pulled on all day. We had one woman walk up to the window and was just staring in, oblivious that we were sat in the house. But like I said, the beach house itself is great, it's just the location on the site which lets it down.
