Cabine sur la rivière du vent

Belle cabane située à Dubois WY sur la rivière des vents réputée pour la pêche à la truite. Paradis de la pêche à la mouche avec gibier sauvage tout autour de la propriété. Situé dans la chaîne de montagnes de la rivière du Vent, à 54 km de l’entrée sud du parc de Yellowstone et à 78 km de l’aéroport de Jackson Hole.
Ceci est une nouvelle cabine avec tous les nouveaux meubles.
Pour les amateurs de plein air, Dubois propose quatre saisons d'aventures en plein air. Entouré par le gel national Shoshone et plus de 800 000 acres de nature vierge. La région abrite le plus grand troupeau de mouflons d'Amérique dans les 48 États inférieurs.
La cabine offre une expérience occidentale authentique et nous vous invitons à vous attarder et à vous détendre dans une véritable communauté occidentale.

Great cabin on the river

The cabin was very nice located right on the river and Q was friendly and helpful with information about the area. We enjoyed our visit and hope to come back again soon!

Beautiful, peaceful property

The owner was very pleasant and helpful with the check in process. He built the cabin and it is remarkable! Enjoyed beautiful night skies, relaxing on the deck and fishing in the river. Excellent location for going to area attractions!! Highly recommend.

The location of this cabin was far enough away from town to be quiet, but close enough to get in and out quickly. We also loved the front porch and sat out quite often. It was a lovely location.

Relaxing time in Dubois

The cabin and host were the best. We enjoyed the cabin immensely. We sat on the deck and listed to the river and geese while watch deer walk by. The perfect vacation for use. We will stay again! Q is awesome.

Relaxing natural beauty

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our second one-week stay at the cabin on the Wind River. Relaxing on the the deck and watching and listening to the river flow by just a few feet away is a wonderful way to unwind. Q is a very gracious host and made sure our stay was comfortable. Dubois is a very nice little town with shopping and restaurants just a short drive away. We will be back.

Relaxing, Quite & Comfortable

Cabin on the Wind property was better than advertised! It was only a few feet from the Wind River where my husband fly fished while I led a photography workshop. Our host Q made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The cabin was well stocked, the sheets smell so fresh and there are extra blankets, fun table games, cooking spices and plenty of bath towels. Full size refrigerator, BBQ, sufficient heat throughout. No television but excellent WiFi for internet access. Only a short drive to town. The wildlife visited everyday! Mountain cottontail, mule deer, waterfowl and more. A very pleasant stay and will return! Highly recommended. Thanks Q!

Wonderful family getaway

The property was beautiful and well-kept. The cabin was extremely clean and was small but well laid out. Q was an amazing and welcoming host. He welcomed the kids playing on the zip line and swing even though they were basically in the front yard of his home on the property. The cabin was a bit closer to the host’s home than I expected but we still felt we had great privacy with a beautiful deck that faced directly to the Wind river. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was great and the kitchen had everything we needed. Wifi signal was great at the cabin. Q had fantastic suggestions for local things to do and our whole family agreed Dubois and specifically this property were amazing and definitely worth another visit!

Quiet cozy cabin surrounded by nature

Cabin was clean, warm, and ready to settle in when I arrived. Lots of essentials available if needed. Close to nature/wilderness trails and the small town of Duboise. It's a great escape from normal life.

Heaven on the Wind

We stayed in Q's cabin as part of our hiking vacation. The location was awesome, the cabin was cute, and the mattresses were great (which is important when you are hiking!). It was so peaceful sleeping to the sound of the river, and on clear nights, the stars were amazing. By far the best thing about this property besides the location is the host! Q is so welcoming and friendly, and even offered to build our firepit fire for us! We had everything we needed and felt sure that if we didn't, Q would provide it. If we should return to Dubois, we would certainly want to stay in this cabin again!

Enjoyable stay

The cabin was exactly as advertised. Clean, modern and well stocked. The bed was comfortable. The cabin sits on the Wind River. We saw geese, ducks and deer right outside the cabin. The owner is a very kind and friendly man. We would highly recommend this cabin.

Nice getaway

This cabin was nice to get away from a lot of people while being somewhat close to the grand tetons. Kept us away from traffic. The cabin was simple, like we wanted. There is a microwave, frig, full bathroom, stove, and kitchenette. Right next to a nice, small, good flow, river. Good bed and nice to have a very good portable heater. Easy to find the place.

Amazing!

We loved the little cabin right on Wind River. We saw deer two different days. We loved setting on the porch listening to and watching the River….it was so pretty…plus mountains in the back ground. Our host Q. was the nicest man ever. We so enjoyed visiting with him…he is a very interesting man and we learned alot from him. He is also a veteran so we appreciate his service. Just a super nice man! If your in the area book some days with him…you will love it Louis & Carrie

Not again

Booked for two nights, stayed one. The place was unbearably warm. There were two fans but only one worked. The flying bug infestation that came through the door shortly before we decided to go to bed was unreal. The rustic style cabin door doesn't seal & you can see daylight through the door. The bugs had no problem finding their way in. This place could greatly benefit from a decent man door & a ceiling fan. We weren't going to suffer through a second night of fighting the bugs while we were trying to sleep.

Wonderful Wyoming Weekend

Our host Fazilath was expecting us and walked over to welcome us. He walked us through the cabin, explained the accommodations and even had a bottle to wine to welcome us. We enjoyed our stay, even though the weather was much colder than we expected the cabin was warm and cozy. The lack of window coverings made sleeping in difficult. We had a wonderful Wyoming weekend get away.

Great location!

The cabin is very cute and homey! My boyfriend and I loved sitting on the porch and watching the river. Q was extremely friendly, he was very kind and helpful with giving us local information and some If the next locations to look at! When we come back we will be getting ahold of Q again! We loved our stay!
