Travel through time, in this fascinating and incredible apartment on the Ponte Vecchio! Unique suggestion. First floor, equipped with free WiFi, 1 double bedroom overlooking the goldsmith shops on the bridge, kitchenette, bathroom with tub/shower, a large living room with dining area and large door/window right on the Arno river, with an amazing view , truly unique, you wouldn't believe your eyes! It can accommodate 2 people.
The location of this property is breathtaking. One really feels like part of old medieval Florence here. The grocery steps from the front door is a massive plus. A five minute walk to the Uffizi! Would absolutely stay here again.
A little rustic but well equipped and great location. We were there in a heat wave and there was a small ac unit in the living room but not in the bedroom. However there was a sizable fan that worked great and kept us cool at night. 5 min walk to Uffizi and Pitti Palace and within 10-15 mins walk to other must sees
Very interesting decor! We enjoyed being right in the middle of town where we could walk to all the attractions and being on the Gold bridge and river was outstanding.
Probably the best accommodation I have ever stayed in. Actually on the Ponte Vecchio, the beautiful property is atmosperic and superbly decorated to match the age of the building. I wish I could live there forever
The Good: Location, location, location! The apartment is very well situated in Florenceâwithin walking distance of most major attractions. Check-in was smooth and easy. While the bedroom was a bit noisy, thatâs to be expected when staying on a bridge and in such a central area. The Bad: The apartment is quite old and feels dusty. While the sheets, towels, and bathroom were clean, the rest of the space could use a deep cleaning. The carpeting throughout is very worn and, in some areas, appears to have mold or mildew. The Ugly: Unfortunately, we encountered bugsâeither fleas or bedbugsâin the bedroom. After waking up with bites, we opted to sleep on the couch the second night.
I was concerned that being on the Ponte Vecchio would be loud but it was amazingly quite. Place was clean and everything you needed was there. An amazing experience.
This was nowhere near a run of the mill location. It felt more like living history and was the immersion into the area I know we would never have found anywhere else. The lower mark for checking in was mainly the challenges of cell service, but we made it. We've been gushing about the experience and how it added to our overall stay since our return.
The apartment, its view, and its location are even better than described. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a place with a fantastic view of the river and the north side of it right in the center of Florence.
This property is in the center of everything. Literally on the Ponte Vecchio and just steps from the Pitti Palace and Ufizzi Gallery. We enjoyed the apartment. It is unique and charming in an old fashioned way.
All I can say is staying here is as surreal as it gets. We were literally in the Ponte Vecchio bridge. What a treat to be able to stay in such a historical location.
If you have the chance to stay here, take it. You're close to everything and the energy is fantastic. Enjoy!
The location in the Ponte Vecchio bridge near is the best location for touring the town. Interesting architecture and antiques inside.
Only issue is amenities - not much in the kitchen - tiny mocha pot - no glasses - no real plates- no soap in bathroom. Hot water was an issue on arrival but was resolved by host quickly.
Canât beat the location, did not find to be too loud after dark and everything worked as it should in the apartment. Clean but not glamorous. Communication with he host was great and any questions were quickly responded to.
The apartment was as described and a great value. It is right on the heart of probably the busiest intersection in the city, make sure you are OK with the traffic and noise. Otherwise the view and ease of getting around is awesome. Very accommodating meeting us late at night as our flight was delayed. A+++
Location is fabulous and view from living room is lovely. There is no a/c in the bedroom but if you open the windows itâs really loud plus the mosquitos were awful. Bought 2 cans of bug spray and still got bites all over. Would like property more in winter.
Les points forts : Communication, emplacement, exactitude de lâannonce
Rustic but lovely stay.
This is a very old apartment on the non tourist side of the Ponte Vecchio, so we were not expecting 5 star hotel accommodations and for the most part loved our stay. The location was fantastic and the bed was comfortable. However, we only received 2 towels (for 2 people) for a week long stay and there were no toiletries available. We had to run out to buy toilet paper, soap and shampoo. The apartment was clean but needs a really good deep clean, there was a lot of dust on all the decor and fans. We were also eaten alive by mosquitoes, which I wonât hold against the hosts, but I recommend that you bring bug spray and after bite if you choose to stay here!
