Get the whole gang together in this charming, rustic farmhouse situated in the small and peaceful hamlet of Llanfilo. Perfect for groups of friends and multi-generational families, the characterful property nestles on the fringes of the Brecon Beacons National Park, meaning hikers, cyclists and fellow lovers of the outdoors are spoiled for adventure opportunities. Visit Pwll-y-Wrach Nature Reserve (6 miles), which is renowned for its beautiful waterfall and peaceful trails. Alternatively, discover popular Hay-on-Wye (12 miles), otherwise known as the âTown of Booksâ thanks to its world-famous wealth of historic bookstores that are complemented by a choice of traditional cafes and pubs. For national park adventures, the picturesque destinations of Talgarth, Bwlch, Talybont-on-Usk and Crickhowell are all within 14 miles.
Step inside this delightful period property and youâll immediately notice that itâs overflowing with character. The intriguing layout is situated on many different levels. To your right, youâll find four welcoming reception rooms â a games room, a living room, a dining room and a playroom/office (accessed via doors from the dining room). Check out the wonderful games room â a sociable space with flagstone floors and an open fire set in an exposed stone chimney â before heading to the main living room, which boasts a beautiful corner fireplace with a roaring wood burner. It also has two sets of French doors that connect the front and rear gardens, making it a perfect gathering spot for everyone.
