Perfect for our family of 6

The host was prompt and clear with communication. This was a nice, quiet neighborhood to stay in. The property needed some repairs, but understandable as this is a rental property and was a reasonable price. The beds were comfortable and clean. We were happy to be able to cook our own meals after purchasing groceries at one of the convenient grocery stores right down the street. We left shopping bags for others to reuse in the cupboard on left side by the refrigerator. The wifi worked very well and it was nice to have a washer, dryer, dishwasher, and plenty of hot water. We would stay here again.

Shops very near (Tesco and coffee shops used by us). Rooms were clean but the whole house really needs decorating, use of the word 'luxury' in the description is not accurate. Host was very responsive to any queries and helpful. The double bed on the first floor had a very uncomfortable mattress but the other 2 rooms were fine in this regard. Could benefit from providing shower gel in the bathrooms and maybe a pint of milk in the fridge.Very happy to have a private car park space so close to the house. Great proximity to central London and Thames River which was why we chose this property and that was a massive plus for us.

Brilliant host, fab location

The property is great, it's so nice to rent a property that has proper sized bedrooms, and a decent sitting area for everyone, often the seating/sofa options are limited!The house was generally clean, there were a few detailed bits that could have been cleaner but I'm probably being picky here. The kitchen and bedrooms were spotless so that's the important bit!A nice garden that we would have used if the weather was kinder, and a thoughtful touch of having fans in each room so we could sleep. A parking spot for the house was also ideal. The location was good, easy to get into central London by tube/train, close to local shops and cafes, and it was less than 20 quid to get back late at night by uber, so a win!AJ as a host is fantastic, great communication, very flexible and it was nice to meet him face to face as he was there to do some work on the house as we arrived.

This property is a huge disappointment. Beware!!! No towels that were not wet, not even four towels in total, no hand towels, half a role of toilet paper for both bathrooms, many items broken. Table was broken, iron didn’t work, shower did not close, NO top sheets on any beds! Top cover was stinky and old and definitely not washed. The stairs are so steep that luggage was crazy to lug up and down. The toilets and showers needed to be cleaned. We had profitable.money that is British pounds 350 and Icelandic Krono 105000. We reported to VRBO and the British Police.

Hi Dena, Everything you said in youre review was not true. We supplied you with everything and we gave you extra! We bought hand towels for you as we do not normally provide these. We offered extra towels but you insisted on hand towels so we went out of our way and bought you hand towels. We supplied an abundance toilet roll and we bought you treats as a way of apology because it wasn’t there immediately. Our professional cleaner always changes all bedding and washed all towels which she takes pictures and videos after each clean so we can garuntee the cleanilness of our linen.the cleaner professional cleans all areas of the house which we have pictures to prove that none of the house was left dirty.We was in constant communication with you through youre stay to which you ignored constantly. Our house is as shown so the comment you made on carrying your luggage upstairs is not a fair one you knew this whilst booking the place. You claimed that you was robbed in the night but you have the only set of keys and our home is in a very quiet secure neighbourhood. You didn’t inform us of any of this so we was unable to assist whilst you were having your stay. We even assisted you with this incident to which you have not communicated to us. All together I would just say if your communication with us was better we could’ve helped in all these situations. All we can do is apologise for any discomfort and hope this does not discourage you in giving us a go again.

I've stayed at homestays in India, Guatemala, UK, Italy, Greece, Japan, Korea and more. This is the worst place I've stayed at. Unclean bathrooms, stained smelly bedding, stained couch, broken items throughout. Skylight window is broken and poorly taped back together, which is a hazard. We showered in the dark because 1/2 of the bathroom lights are broken. NOTHING at this stay can be described as luxury, despite the listing title. Too many small details to list (one total tea bag in the giant container labeled tea, for example). Dirty floor, dirty walls, it just feels like a bachelor pad with the bare minimums (or even less than that). The owner offered a refund when we mentioned our concerns but it was too late to find another property at that point. I'm not super picky with homestays, but I'd avoid this property at all costs. This property has no business being listed.

This property boasts that it is on the door step of the city whilst being on a private road away from the city noise. it has private parking which is excellent for those who wish to park their vehicles and travel into central London. it has an ample amount of travel connections from buses to trains. steps away from the city make this a perfect place for a London city holiday!

My property has private parking which is very rare in London, especially being so close to the city. its perfect to allow those to avoid paying the congestion charge or those hefty parking charges! I have an outdoor space which is great for groups to enjoy a summers day having a BBQ. This property boasts 2 bathrooms so there is no waiting around!
