Start exploring by strolling down the steep lane to unspoilt Lee Bay (500 metres) with its small, sandy beach, excellent for swimming, rock pooling and kayaking. Alternatively, there’s a hidden path under the cliffs that brings you – at low tide – to enchanting Sandy Cove. This area is renowned for its fuchsia-lined lanes and there are many walking trails signposted from Lee Village for you to uncover. Both Woolacombe and Ilfracombe are within 3.5 miles, offering shops, places to eat and drink, and more golden beaches.
Built in the 18th century, this stunning house is set over three storeys and boasts a delightful combination of original features and modern, homely touches.
