Poyers Farmhouse is a beautiful 16th Century, thatched farmhouse, situated a short drive from North Devonâs golden sandy beaches and close to Braunton village centre with its great pubs, restaurants, shops and bustling village life. This charming property is steeped in history, having a grade II listing and a wealth of beams and period features throughout, including latched doors and cast iron radiators. Ideal for larger groups or several families.
Property was certainly spacious and the kids loved the hot tub! Shame bath towels weren't supplied but...
Within easy reach of shops etc
Beds were comfy and bathrooms were good.
A great place for the 9 of us to come together from across the south of the UK to have a 56th & a 50th Birthday celebration.
Bringing two side of the Family together with plenty to do on the local beaches for the surfers, whilst at the same time having something for the elders of the group and all those in between, meant it was the perfect place to stay.
Had a great week away despite some classic British weather. Property was ideal for large family. The kids spent many hours playing hide and seek in the property. Garden was ideal for knocking a ball around and for the dog to roam around him. Great location close enough to walk into Braunton only a short drive into Woolacombe and Ilfracombe
Amazing house which met all our needs as 3 generations. Fabulous en-suite for the grandparents, extremely spacious bedrooms and sitting room areas. We enjoyed many a meal around the huge dining table and the ultity was great for storage and drying. The 4 boys loved the hot tub and the garden area outside had many a games of cricket and football on it during our stay! Perfect location for also popping to see family in Braunton and Tesco just a 5 min drive. Definately worth the 7 hour trip from York!
Poyers Farmhouse is a perfect cottage for 2 families and 2 dogs. The rooms are all spacious and quirky and work really well for 2 families. We found everything we needed and the hot tub and garden were appreciated by everyone. It is in a great location, walking distance to the Tarka Trail, Braunton and a good pub 5 minutes walk away. Would definitely recommend.
