à propos de cet hébergement
Villa Le Bos - Trois Chambres Villa, Couchages 6
This villa in the Dordogne may just change your perspective. In a little hamlet set on top of a hill in the rolling French countryside, just a short drive from Sainte-AlvĂšre, here you can escape completely if you wish. Youâll enter beneath a picture-perfect arbour, and inside the home exudes that same sense of rustic, holiday villa comfort.
The open ground floor includes the kitchen, dining room, and living room, all with the same old stone walls. Take the wooden spiral staircase up to the bedrooms, where the farmhouse feel is even more apparent. Here you can hide away and read under peaceful, age-old wooden beams. Outside, the countryside views from the swimming pool are simply idyllic.
If your family holiday takes you exploring, the Dordogne region hides tiny villages and market towns alongside meandering rivers and beautiful landscapes. Book a table at the Michelin starred Le Vieux Logis in nearby Trémolat or admire the beautiful views from the gorgeous village of Limeuil, one of France's 'Plus Beaux Villages'. Meanwhile, families will adore Le Bugue with its canoeing/kayaking opportunities and various child-friendly attractions.
For more metropolitan pleasures, a trip north to the market in PĂ©rigueux is worth it. Here youâll find stunning variety of fresh produce, bread, cheese, even foie gras. While youâre there, visit the Vesunna Gallo-Roman Museum, where you can learn about archaeology in action.
The best part - you're in the Bergerac wine region! With the handsome riverside town just over half an hour away, you'll find not only dozens of wineries, but also the region's conveniently located airport. And don't worry - Bordeaux isn't far either or venture in the other direction to experience the historic charm and gastronomy of Sarlat-la-Canéda, less than an hour from your holiday home.
