Cosy beach cottage, centrally located and steps away from Rainbow Bay Beach

The Anchorage vacation rental sits among cool palms and green shrubs steps away from the stunning Rainbow Bay Beach along Wandering Shore Drive, a great central location and just a 15 minute drive from Governor's Harbour International Airport. Equipped with everything you might need to make your holiday as adventurous or as relaxing as you want, it's the perfect base for exploring the island, and a great spot for doing nothing at all.

You're guaranteed a warm welcome by Your Hosts, Nicky and Stan. We can organise a meal, arrange pre-arrival groceries, arrange a day out or a nice relaxing massage in the comfort of the cottage, or we'll simply leave you to enjoy the peace and quiet - whichever you prefer.

Our cottage has two bedrooms and two bathrooms with walk-in showers, one bedroom has a queen bed, guest closet, drawers and en-suite while the second bedroom has two twin beds, guest closet, drawers. Both bedrooms have black-out blinds and locked owner closets. There is a separate bathroom.
The lounge/dining/kitchen area is open plan with a high ceiling giving it a spacious feeling, the dining area serves as a dedicated workspace if required. All three areas have patio doors looking out onto our large garden and the stunning Rainbow Bay Beach and Nentwig Park, both just steps away!
We have an outside shower and drying line which is situated at the back of the house.
The patio area is a great space to sit and enjoy your morning coffee watching the sunrise or an evening cocktail watching the beautiful sunsets we have here.

If you've had enough peace and quiet, why not make your way up to the The Sunsert Cove & Rainbow Room (The Rainbow Inn) which is a few minutes drive away to enjoy a cocktail or two or have a meal (note - they are currently closed for the summer season July - November 2024, re-opening date to be confirmed).
If you want to venture a little further into James Cistern a 5-10 minute drive away, you will find Delish Lifestyle Beach Sports Bar and Restaurant, LeoRose Sunset Beach Bar & Grill, Mel's Snack Shack, D'Jay's Cafe, Da Conch Hut, Juice City and the infamous and oh so delicious Stubbs BBQ (Under the Tamarind Tree Grill). Delish Lifestyle and LeoRose both have live music on certain days. Heading North into the settlement of Hatchet Bay a 5-10 minute drive away, you will find The Front Porch, Twin Brothers, Rednip Sports Lounge & Grill, Boaters Haven Bar, Grill & Convenience Store.

There is plenty to do around Rainbow Bay!
If you enjoy walking or running, then you will find you can do this all around Rainbow from the Bight Side over to the Atlantic side.
Aside from Rainbow Bay Beach directly on your doorstep which is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding, why not check out Hidden Beach, Smuggler's Beach Twin Beach and Driftwood Beach over on the Atlantic side.
Enjoy a game of tennis? Then head on over to the community tennis court located along Lazy Shore Road (guests to bring own equipment).

Rainbow Bay is a well maintained and respectable sub-division, desired by residents, second homeowners and visitors. Rainbow Bay Property Owners Association maintains the sub-division, its tennis court, parks and beaches. It is a welcoming and friendly community with plenty to see and do in and around the vicinity. Rainbow Bay is situated between James Cistern and Hatchet Bay and is a 15 minute drive from Governor's Harbour Airport and a 45 minute drive from North Eleuthera Airport.
