Beautiful Cotswold Holiday Home - The Puzzle House

The Puzzle House is a cosy Cotswold holiday cottage which sleeps four guests (no children aged seven or under permitted), in two spacious bedrooms, both with their own ensuites. There is a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the property, especially within the cosy sitting room with its plush soft furnishings, making it a true home from home. The tasteful interiors and thoughtful colour scheme continue into the generous kitchen, which effortlessly flows into the courtyard, a wonderful setting for an al fresco breakfast. The Puzzle House is tucked away in Moreton-in-Marsh, a characterful town full of boutique shops and eateries!

The Puzzle House can be booked either on its own, or with Highgate which sleeps four guests in the adjacent property.

Fabulous!

The Puzzle House is a real home from home, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It’s perfectly situated in the lovely market town of Moreton in Marsh. We loved the fact that we were right behind the high street. Would highly recommend a stay here.

It was a lovely stay in a wonderful cottage. Everything was perfect, from the furnishings, the cleanliness to the cosiness. In the immediate vicinity there are good restaurants for dinner (e.g. Italian, Thai) and nice cafes for breakfast (e.g. Grouch). The location of the cottage offers excellent opportunities to explore the Cotswold. Many things can be reached within 30-45 minutes by car (e.g., Snowshill, Broadway, Stow-on-the Wold, Stratford-upon-Avon). Even though Hight Street is nearby, the house is pleasantly quiet. Overall, it was a very nice stay and we can definitely recommend the Puzzle House.

Beautiful Cottage!

Such a nice, clean, modern and cosy cottage. Has lots of smart features which make the place easy to adjust to. We really enjoyed our stay, highly recommend.

A lovely break in Moreton in Marsh

A newly converted property which was very comfortable, superbly equipped, and very well located behind the High Street. We did find that the heating went off one evening and we did feel rather cold but did not know quite how to improve it. Probably the heating was pre-set. A very enjoyable few days.

Short stay before Christmas

Fantastic little cottage, very very secure and right on the high street for all amenities and the entrance to the Cotswolds. Lovely well fitted out cottage, very very clean and comfortable . Can’t wait to stay again

Very comfortable cottage

We felt comfortable and at home in this beautiful cottage. It is well decorated, clean and quiet. The bed is very comfortable and the living room cosy to spend the evenings watching a movie or playing one of the board game at disposal. We had a wonderful relaxing time and would definitely come back if we visit the Cotswolds again.

A Cracking Few Days In Moreton

The Puzzle House was a perfect place for our long weekend. The accommodation was spotless, decorated to a really high standard, and in a brilliant location. We are regular visitors to The |Cotswolds, and this is one of the very best places we have stayed, and we will definitely return again in the future.

What a superb Cottage.

What a superb place!! We could hardly believe how well the cottage was set up. Every thing you would need for a perfect stay. The morning after we arrived we woke up to the first snow of the year! Brilliant, how did StayCotsworld arrange that? Perhaps only comment we would make was the 5 pm before we could get into the Cottage! We will be back!! Glen and Jackie.

Fantastic stay in luxurious property

This is our second booking with Stay Cotswolds and once again, everything has been fantastic. From a great website that shows you lots of pictures and info to help you book, helpful and responsive when answering questions and then a property that’s amazing when you arrive! Truly a great service! The Puzzle House had a fantastic location right in the village centre so great for bars and restaurants, as well as visits to different places in the Cotswolds. Very luxurious place to stay. Great bedding and very comfortable beds. Thank you for the arrival gifts to help us celebrate our anniversary- we will definitely be back!!

Autumn visit

A beautiful house with a beautiful vibe. Just off the high street in Moreton so everything is within walking distance. Everything within the house is high quality. No one would be disappointed staying here.

Beautiful holiday house

We had a lovely stay at the Puzzle House. Everything was spotless. The furniture and furnishings are lovely. Everything is done to a high standard and there is nothing that has not been thought of. There was a cupboard of brand new games in the living room. The kitchen was well stocked with every utensil that you’d need. The beds were very comfortable. Even though the house is on the high street it was very quiet. Would recommend without hesitation.

Wonderful place!

Having stayed in many holiday cottages over the years this certainly has to be the best. Great location for getting to other villages and it was spotlessly clean and so comfortable. There was a generous welcome basket so thank you. My friend and I couldn't fault it in any respect. We were a bit 'dim' when it came to working the showers but Helen soon sorted us out! The cottage is tucked away off the High Street so it was nice and quiet. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay and explore The Cotswolds. Great communication also from StayCotswold, all round a great experience and it's even better when you know you have chosen the right place to stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

The Puzzle House

The Puzzle House was a delightful 'home from home' for a long weekend break. Beautifully presented with great attention to detail, this comfortable home is well located, close to transport links and has a variety of local amenities just along the High Street. Secure parking and being able to stay somewhere pet free were appreciated. Highly recommended!

Fantastic Property

What a fantastic property, one of the best we have stayed in. It is stunning, beautifully refurbished and so well equipped. Location is superb, only 5 minutes walk from the station with many restaurants/pubs within striking distance. We will definitely be back.

Excellent accommodation and location

Amazing accommodation, everything you could want/need for home comforts is provided and absolutely immaculate. Had a lovely short break looking around the area, beautiful villages and scenery with Moreton-In-Marsh being an excellent base. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Helen.

Highly recommend!

This cottage is absolutely wonderful! Beautifully presented in every way! We loved how spacious the kitchen and lounge area were - perfect for spending time with family/friends. We particularly appreciated the fact that both bedrooms have an en suite! The location in the centre of town is so convenient. The addition of a parking space is very helpful as there is literally no other parking available - even if the passage to the spot is a little tight!!!!

As good as the photos suggest

A very comfortable holiday home, with off street parking in a super location, with plenty of eateries to choose from. We assume the property has been newly fitted as the bathrooms and kitchen are in excellent condition and everywhere was nice and clean. Overall a very pleasant and peaceful place to stay. Please correct me if I’m mistaken, but I couldn’t find a razor socket for charging my toothbrush? We would definitely recommend the Puzzle House to friends and wouldn’t hesitate to rebook in the future. This is the first time we’ve used Stay Cotswolds and we were pleased with their online booking system and communication. It was nice to receive an email ahead of the stated check in time, telling us the property was ready. Thank you.

Fantastic location , very clean and comfortable cottage all the rooms were very nice and a well designed and fort out layout , for shaw will come back . Just a shame small dogs are not allowed .

Perfect spot

Beautifully presented house with everything you could need. So easy to park up and forget the car to be honest. Sofas and bed are slightly on the firm side but that wasn't an issue for me although my partner would've preferred softer. You can never please everyone and only mention it for anyone who needs softness. Overall the place is even better than it looks in the pictures.

A Perfect Cotswold Stay!

We stayed at The Puzzle House for two weeks. The house was brand new, well equipped, tastefully decorated, sparkling clean, located right in the middle of the beautiful market town, with shops, train and bus stations within a 2-3 minute walk -- an ideal base for visiting the Cotswolds. Helen and other staff members were responsive, personable, addressing all our needs, and making us feel very much at home. Wifi was strong, we were able to work remotely from every corner of the house, having Zoom/Teams video calls easily. We highly recommend Helen and her team, as well as The Puzzle House. A five-star experience for a well traveled family!

Perfect

Great position in Moreton in Marsh. Tucked away but close to shops and cafes. Good to have off-street secure parking. Beautifully renovated cottage with great attention to detail. Comfortable beds and powerful showers. Stylish interior. Small patio area but big enough to sit and have breakfast in the sunshine. Look forward to staying again in the future.
