Open the double doors and head into the snug/dining room, the perfect spot for lingering meals or snuggling up with a book in front of the wood burner. The galley-style kitchen efficiently includes everything you''ll need to prepare hearty meals. Upstairs, where all the rooms have low-sloping ceilings in places, you''ll find a double and a twin bedroom, a family bathroom and - a special surprise - a specially set up meditation room in which you''re welcome to unwind. The sun-trap courtyard garden is equipped with a table and chairs for al fresco meals, as well as a pair of loungers for lying back and doing nothing at all. When you fancy a soak in the hot tub (one session a day available), a spa package or a holistic therapy, simply book with the owner.

Conveniently located just metres from a general store and a high-quality pub, the property is set in the historic rural town of Somerton. Adjoining the barn is the owner''s spa lounge, and also in town are a choice of tea rooms, specialist shops and local walks. When you''ve finished exploring locally, get out and about hiking, cycling, fishing or touring local attractions, which include Haynes Motor Museum, 10 miles, Fleet Air Arm Museum, 7 miles, and Clarks outlet village, 6.5 miles.

- Due to the character of the building, there are some low beams upstairs

- Holistic therapies and a session booked in the luxury hot tub can be enjoyed in the owners’ neighbouring farmhouse - these treatments can be booked directly with the owner of the property and special custom spa packages are available. Robes, towels, and slippers are provided; and refreshments are available.
