Rustic and Quirky Comfortable Cottage with Hot Tub
This charming, beautifully refurbished cottage has been thoughtfully designed to offer a truly comfortable and cosy retreat. Nestled in a peaceful, picturesque village in East Sussex, it enjoys far-reaching views across the rolling South Downs, making it the perfect place for families or friends to relax and unwind.
The spacious garden is ideal for outdoor living, whether youâre soaking in the jacuzzi, gathering around the outdoor wood burner as the sun sets, or relaxing on the decking while taking in the stunning countryside views.
Inside, the first floor features a stunning master bedroom suite complete with a dressing area, a luxurious roll-top bath, and a private WC. Also on this floor is a beautiful shower room finished with Moroccan tiles and a high-end, multi-setting shower, along with a second comfortable double bedroom. On the top floor, there is a further double bedroom and an additional twin bedroom, making the cottage ideal for families or groups.
The cosy living room, with its inviting wood-burning stove, is perfect for relaxing evenings. The fully equipped kitchen is designed for cooking and entertaining, offering everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals for family gatherings. With ample space and all essential appliances, itâs ideal for cooking together and sitting comfortably around the dining table to share memorable meals.
Outside, the large, sun-filled garden boasts uninterrupted views of the South Downs and enjoys sunshine throughout the day. The hot tub comfortably seats six and provides the perfect spot to relax, whether during the day or under the stars. Additional seating on the decking and around the outdoor fire pit makes this a wonderful space to enjoy long summer evenings.
The cottage is set in a quintessential English village with two welcoming pubs serving excellent traditional food, offering an authentic taste of village life. The nearby town of Heathfield, just 1.5 miles away, provides a selection of shops, cafés, and local amenities.
