An elegant apartment in a sought-after location on Queensgate, near the museums and close to the many upmarket pleasures of Knightsbridge and Chelsea.
Area: An elegant residential area of period terraces and garden squares, a few minutes walk from the Victoria & Albert, the Natural History and Science Museums, and beyond them to the Royal Albert Hall, the Albert Memorial, and Hyde Park, a great green space perfect for a breath of fresh air. A walk of 15-20 minutes takes you to the fashionista and gourmet paradise of Harrods, and the exclusive shops, boutiques, and restaurants of Knightsbridge. Alternatively, a similar walk takes you south to the many attractions of the trendy Kingâs Road area. Buses, Tube trains, and taxis are plentiful for access to the West End and all parts of the city. Easy connections to Heathrow and the M25.
Tube: Gloucester Road, 3 minutes walk (Circle, District and Piccadilly lines).
Accommodation: A two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment on the 2nd floor of a Victorian terraced building with a lift. Non-smoking, wifi.
Decoration: Pleasant traditional decor with quality antiques.
Reception: The large well lit and spacious sitting room welcomes you with a comfortable sofa, armchairs, classic book-lined shelves, and a handsome leather-topped writing desk, along with a Regency table and 6 chairs for dining in style. The TV with a built-in DVD player offers a good selection of Freeview channels.
Kitchen: The well-planned galley kitchen has an electric cooker with a double oven, microwave, coffee machine, fridge, dishwasher, and washer/dryer.
Bedrooms: The traditional master bedroom has a UK king-size bed (150x200cm) while the second bedroom has two single beds (90x190cm).
Bathrooms: The newly fitted bathroom has a wash basin, tub with a rain-head shower, and folding shower door. There is a separate guest cloakroom with a wash basin and loo.
