Set in Molazzana in Northern Tuscany, Villa Vicinato offers accommodation with a private pool, a balcony and panoramic mountain views. The air conditioned villa also boasts a lovely terrace, expansive garden, free private parking and free WiFi.
Villa Vicinato consists of 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a coffee machine, and 2 bathrooms with a bidet. Towels and bed linen are provided. The property has a lovely outdoor dining area with fabulous views of the valley. This atmospheric villa would be perfect for a large family or group of friends.
The villa is well equipped and comfortably furnished and has traditional chestnut beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. With 3 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom, and 2 lounges there is plenty of space to relax. There is a large modern fully equipped kitchen with dining area. The 2 large shower/bathrooms have been newly fitted with modern fittings.
Guests can relax in the garden at the property and enjoy the 8m pool surrounded by decking.
The lovely garden is furnished with quality outdoor furniture, a BBQ and a large dining area. Views from the pool are truly beautiful.

There is a little cafe/ bar/ shop in the fortfied village as well as an ancient church and WW2 museum.
There are many restaurants within a few minutes drive or 30 minutes walk as well as a large supermarket at the foot of the hill in the larger town of Gallicano.
The large town of Gallicano has many restaurants and bars and shops, has a weekly market and holds many festivals during the summer months. The famous town of Barga is only 15 minutes drive away, as is the larger market town, Castelnuovo di Garfagnana. Bagni di Lucca, a famous spa town is 30 minutes drive.
The famous art city of Lucca is only 50 minutes drive away or a 45 minute train journey.
Garfagnana is 'Hidden Tuscany' at its best. With its stunning scenery it is the best area in Tuscany for walking and outdoor activities. The area is known for it's fabulous hiking opportunities as well as other outdoor adventures. There are wild swimming spots throughout the area.

We provide you with first hand knowledge during the booking process, and prior to your arrival you will receive a comprehensive personalised information sheet with everything you need to know about the house and area. This includes our favourite restaurants, cafes, shops, local swimming spots, activities and sites to see ensuring you can plan your holiday in advance. We can also give advice on travelling within Italy, help arrange airport transfers, pre-arrival shopping services and home cooked meals for your arrival.
We work closely with local outdoor adventure companies and other activity providers, and can help to arrange things such as cooking, painting and pottery classes, and outdoor adventures, such as canoeing, mountain biking, gorge walking and speleology. After you return home we will always send a check up email to ask how everything was with your stay. We also offer all our returning guests a returners discount.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
Friends of Tuscany was founded in 1994 by my father Andrew McKean when he moved with me (Molly) and my mother Susan to the Garfagnana area of Northern Tuscany. Since then we have lived and worked there for the past 3 decades building their knowledge and passion for Tuscany in particular the Garfagnana area. Andrew and Susan, now largely retired live in the beautiful village of Villa Collemandina in Garfagnana, in the vicinity of many of our houses.
