La Farina Sweet Home overall was a great stay. The location was very convenient to walk into city center, or catch the train. However there were some hiccups at the beginning of our stay. My friends and I decided to stay in and cook in order to save some money, while getting ready to cook we discovered that there was no salt, olive oil or dish soap anywhere in the vrbo. We contacted the host and he resolved the issue the next day, but it would have been nice to have those necessities from the beginning. One of the things that attracted us about this accommodation was the washer and dryer. We were very disappointed after doing a load of laundry to discover that the washing machine made all of our clothes smell like mildew due to the washer not being properly ventilated. The dryer then shredded holes in several of our clothing items. We finished out our stay by handwashing our clothes in the bathroom sink and letting them air dry on the patio. Besides those things happening in the beginning, it was a good stay. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was pretty well stocked, the bathroom had plenty of storage for three people to share, and the view was great to watch while eating breakfast on the sunny porch.
My Name is Matias, I was born and raised in Florence. I worked a few years in a tourist rental agency, and then, after traveling around Europe and the World (just a part of it),I decided to come back to my city and I started managing apartments on behalf of the owners. With the help of my coworkers and the experience we know what it is need to ensure you a perfect stay in the city.
You will have a wonderful and private experience, but we will be always available in case you will need it, not only for emergencies but also simply if you need advice or any kind of tip about Florence.
