Summary:

Enjoy staying in the heart of Bayswater, London with this cosy 2-bedroom apartment located on the basement level of a secure residential building — NO LIFT. Self check-in from 3:00 PM by collecting keys at a nearby location. Wi-Fi is available, great for both work and leisure. A refundable damage deposit is required.



The Space:

Welcome to this cosy 86 m² 2-bedroom apartment on the basement level of a building without a lift, perfectly situated on Queensborough Terrace in the heart of Bayswater. The apartment is professionally cleaned before every arrival so you can settle in straight away.



Bedroom 1: 1 double bed, Bedroom 2: 1 double bed, Living room: 1 double sofa bed. The apartment has a full en-suite bathroom in Bedroom 1 with a shower/bathtub, and a second full bathroom accessible via the hallway.



The living area is a great space to unwind, with a flat-screen tv and dining table and chairs. There is a private terrace — smoking is not allowed on the terrace.



The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need: full fridge, oven, microwave, stove, dishwasher, Cookworks coffee machine, and electric kettle and toaster. A washing machine is available for your convenience. The flat has individual electric radiators for heating throughout the cooler months.

Good to know before you book



Check-in: From 3:00 PM via self check-in — simply collect the keys at a nearby location. If you’re arriving after 7:00 PM and need someone to meet you with the keys, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. Late arrivals between 7:00–9:59 PM incur a £50 fee; 10:00 PM–12:59 AM is £90; after 1:00 AM is £120. We’re flexible when we can be — just give us a heads-up!



Check-out: By 10:00 AM.



Damage deposit: A refundable damage deposit of £800 is required before arrival. It may be processed via a third-party payment provider such as Stripe, Swikly, or Flywire. The deposit is returned in full within 14 days of check-out following a standard inspection.



Max guests: 6 people (including children and infants). Please keep within this limit so everyone is comfortable.



Smoking: The apartment and the terrace are non-smoking throughout.



Events: The apartment is a private home and not suitable for parties or events.



Guest Access:

The accommodation is private and exclusively for guests during their stay. Free Wi-Fi connection, information on London and restaurant recommendations, sheets, towels, soaps and much more.

About the Notting Hill Location:

Notting Hill is one of London’s most iconic and photogenic neighbourhoods, famous for its pastel-coloured townhouses, the Portobello Road antique and food market, and a relaxed, well-heeled atmosphere. The area has excellent cafés, restaurants, and independent shops, and feels genuinely residential despite its popularity. Notting Hill Gate underground station connects to the Central line, and Hyde Park is within easy walking distance.

Wi-Fi may occasionally be affected by area-wide connectivity issues. Please note a noise monitoring device is installed at the property entrance for extra security and to ensure the peace of the property. This device is not located in any sleeping area or bathroom. Photos are as accurate as possible — minor updates may not always be reflected immediately. Management may occasionally need access to the property for inspection, maintenance or viewings (between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM with reasonable notice). In genuine emergencies, access may be required without prior notice. We’ll always communicate as much as possible and be respectful of your stay.

Superb Location

This was the perfect apartment in the best location for pubs, tube, grocery and restaurants!Everything was exactly as advertised. Checking in was easy! Hyde Park and Kensington Palace were just a block or two away! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The apartment felt damp and had a moldy smell. Had a faulty lightswitch in the bathroom which took 24 hours to get replaced. I was in communication with the host, but they kept on asking me to try different things over and over again. They kept askIng to take pictures of the light switch and fuse box and send video of me actually trying to switch on the lights. They were suggesting to use a flashlight or cellphone torch when showering at night in total darkness. After expressing my frustration, they finally dispatched a technician. The washer worked great, but the dryer took HOURS to dry a few shirts.We had to pick-up and return the keys to vape shop 5 minutes away. The apartment was in a great location; however, i don't think I will come back again.

Good stay

Solid stay in a well equipped apartment. Location is great, short walk to the tube station and plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. What knocked it down to a 4 star instead of a 5 star is that the damage deposit does take some time to be refunded. As of writing this review we checked out on 1/21 and the refund was 2/27 just something to keep in mind if staying with them.

Great location, subpar condition of the apartment

The location next to Hyde Park and Bayswater/Queensway lines was awesome, but issues with the flat existed throughout our stay. There were toilet problems, gate issues, sewage pooling up into the shower drain, and locking in the bathroom. The size was great but we weren’t able to take advantage of the amenities.

Super good

This spacious apartment was the perfect spot for our vacation. It was clean, well-kept, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The kitchen was especially awesome — super roomy and had all the gear you need. The location couldn’t have been better, right in the heart of central London. A short walk to the tube, plus tons of shops, pubs, and restaurants nearby. Check-in was a breeze, and the host was quick to respond to our questions. The beds were super comfy, giving us a solid night’s sleep. The utility room with a washer/dryer and plenty of counter space was a huge bonus. All in all, this apartment was well-laid-out, super convenient, and made our stay in London smooth and stress-free.

I fell at Home

Spacious apartment, plenty of room. . Good flat for a vacation, it was clean, very smart, had everything you would need. Very big kitchen, feels like at home. The damage deposit wasn't a surprise and it was returned quickly. Excellent location in central London. Very near to shops and underground station, easily accessible.

2BR 2BA with Terrace by Notting Hill - Paddington

Well laid out apartment. Convenient to Bayswater & Queensway Underground. 15 min walk to Paddington Station or Royal Oak station. Beds were comfortable and allowed us a good nights sleep. Well equipped, spacious and airy kitchen. Utility room with Washer/Dryer was an excellent amenity especially as there was a lot of counter space for folding clothes. Host responding quickly to our request for air fresheners to help combat the inevitable musty smell after so much rain in the days before we arrived.

Pros: Check-in was easy, neighborhood was safe and clean. Close to restaurants, grocery store and the Underground rail station. Washer and dryer was nice. Fans are a must in this flat for airflow.Cons: - The flat seemed bigger and more spacious in photos online.-The entrance has very steep stairs (not safe for elderly).- The kitchen smelled of prior renters cooking upon arrival. -Throughout the stay a musty smell was noticed and elevated when washing clothes. - Washer and dryer were very nice, but dryer had not been attended to by cleaning staff. I had to clean out the 2 dryer vents and dump out the water reservoir that was full. - stained living room furniture (could be easliy steam cleaned)Improvements:- More Air Flow needed - 2 fans were provided, but a 3rd would have been nice for each sleeping space (kitchen/living space needed this!). So much needs to be improved - fans, dehumidifiers to get the musty smell remedied. - One bathroom was troublesome to open the door from the inside to get out. - Rear bedroom was crowded with furniture, the bed filled the room and everything else just crowded it. Next time I would stay somewhere else for the money and do not rent a Basement flat. - Lesson learned for me.

The pictures look nothing like the property. Imagine dirty/moldy basement stairs and door with a rotting suitcase outside the front porch. The front door is dirty with peeling paint. Open the door to the stench of mold/mildew. Called the host immediately and stated that we could't stay they said they'd send someone out, no one came. We contacted the host again when we noticed that the hall bathroom didn't have lightbulbs. Again, they said they would send someone out. No one came. Then I got locked in the hall bathroom. My 19 year old son was strong enough to turn the handle and get me out. Then my husband got locked in the bathroom because sometimes the door just locks with you inside. In total, 3 of us were locked in that bathroom for a period of time. Then on day 2, we found water all over the bathroom floor, confirming our suspicion that something in there is leaking badly. Did I mention the strong smell of mold and mildew? Contacted the host that we could not stay in the place They told us that they were keeping our . I have never given a poor VRBO review until now.

Avoid at All Costs – This Place Should Be Condemned, Not Rented

If I could give this property zero stars, I would. This was, without a doubt, the worst rental experience I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, we were met with filth and a stench of stale smoke so strong my son couldn’t even stay in the main living area. And yet, they claim the property hasn’t been smoked in—absolutely laughable.Let me break this down:•Cleanliness? Nonexistent. We found nail clippings on the floor and stains all over the furniture. The towels smelled like smoke and were so disgusting we wouldn’t even dry our shoes with them.•Furniture and Fixtures were in a state of disrepair: burn holes in the upholstery, cracked bathroom tiles, a sink that barely drained, dripping taps, and a toilet that ran non-stop.•The bathroom door handle was so faulty someone had to help from the outside just to get it open.•The kitchen and family room reeked of smoke, making the space completely unusable for my family.•We tried to leave the very first night, but after hours on the phone and chat with Vrbo, it was already 11pm by the time we got to the flat, and we were stranded for the night.•We left early the next morning. The listing said we could drop the keys off from 8am to 11pm, but the actual key drop (a vape shop) didn’t open until 9am,

Terrible, terrible experience

Arrived at the property to an overwhelming smell of cleaning products and gurgling sounds from the sinks in the kitchen and bathrooms. Using the toilet once resulted in the ensuite bathroom shower flooding with sewage water across the floor. Contacting the owner/property manager was fruitless, no answer to the numbers we were provided with. Reaching out to vrbo proved equally pointless as they tried to contact the property manager but got the same result. 2 hours on the phone wasted.We had to move the mattress into the kitchen as the smell was overpowering in the bedroom. Following an incredibly poor response from the PM the following morning (essentially, fix it yourself - sorry, I’m not a plumber and I didn’t pay a significant amount of money to be fixing obvious pre-existing sewage issues),we booked into a new place that day as the apartment was incredibly unhygienic, unsafe and unfit for anyone to stay in ( further inspection of the property found faeces in the courtyard gutter that was starting to slide down the wall). I won’t even get into the mould.Sadly the PM thinks this is all fine as they are not issuing any sort of refund with the barest of apologies. PM also wanted us to check that the issue had been fixed despite us repeatedly telling them that we had moved out days previously and had handed back the keys. If you like being scammed, this is the place and property manager for you. Still waiting on our deposit they promised to return to us over 2 weeks later.

Der Check-in war sehr einfach und komplett selbstständig, es war kein Gastgeber vor Ort. Die Wohnung war insgesamt relativ sauber, Handtücher, Bettwäsche sowie Seife und Shampoo waren vorhanden. Außerdem liegt die Unterkunft sehr günstig.
