Looe beach is a short wander down from the property, it is a sandy tidal beach, perfect for sandcastles & rockpooling, the beach has cafes, toilet & changing facilities, perfect for families.
Looe is very fortunate to have so many wonderful restaurants & takeaways, everything from the Best seafood restaurant in Cornwall (The Fish market) Italian, Pizza, Greek, Indian, Mexican, Chinese & a choice of excellent Fish & chip shops. Looe has many shops for amenities, including the famous Sarah’s Pasty shop, Pengelly’s fish shop, a farm shop that sells wonderful produce like local meat, cheeses, fruit, veg & artisan bread. Looe boasts many boating opportunities, from fishing trips, sea safari, self drive river boats, trips to Polperro & Fowey. Kayaking & paddleboards can be hired in town also.

The walk from Looe to Polperro is a must do, once there The Blue Peter inn is an ideal stop for a crab sandwich & a traditional pint of ale..If walking back is too much, there is a bus service back to Looe, boat returns, tide permitting, also come & go from Polperro & Looe, but these must be booked in advance.
