This was such a fun adventure! The owners even went out with us to make sure we were comfortable driving and docking the houseboat. It was fully stocked with food and supplies in case you forgot anything. We seen numerous wildlife along our journey. Did some fishing and put out some jug lines. We stayed 4 days and 3 nights. Next time will go longer. The weather was perfect.

Had basic breakfast items and some fruits and veggies stocked, along with some canned goods. Good supply of snacks and water. Bed was comfy and bathroom well stocked. Lyndsie was an amazing contact and helpful. Shop for food and drinks before boarding .Pierre Part Store has anything you need! Most beautiful scenery the south.

The swamp tuna was a wonderful addition to our vacation. The hosts made this a wonderful experience for us and everything including what was provided for our stay shows that it was all thought out to ensure guests have the upmost best experience. 10/10 would recommend the swamp tuna and hope to come back again.

We had a blast on the Swamp Tuna. The hosts did a great job of explaining everything and remained on call throughout the trip. The boat is incredibly well stocked and we had a blast living on it, we definitely plan on returning one day!

This was an amazing experience. The boat is stocked with everything you need. To be that close to the wildlife is like nothing you have experienced. I really hope we get to do it again someday.

This was truly one of the funnest trips I’ve ever been on! The Clark and Lindsey were amazing and so very helpful. They even fully stocked the swamp tuna full of food, fishing gear and everything we could have ever needed. I will definitely be back- I would HIGHLY recommend.

I spent two full months on the Swamp Tuna, and I am so grateful for my time in the community and on the boat. Clark and Lyndsie are some of the kindest people I have ever met, and everyone associated with the Tuna is welcoming and generous and funny.Clark helped me learn anything I wished to learn, and the Tuna has everything you could need on the bayou. It is built to be safe, and it is built for beginners. You can take it out and anchor in a remote area and wake up to a stunning morning with the sun rising over the cypress trees. Clark and Lyndsie are always available for any questions or anything you might need, and this is such a rare and special chance to experience the swamp on your own terms while being protected by folks who know the area like the back of their hands. The Swamp Tuna is stocked with water and food and treats, and there is an inside cooktop and an outside propane one. It has a full bath and endless hot water. The beds are very comfortable, and there are solar-powered fans for when you are away from shore power for the AC. I felt so happy and well cared for on this boat. I already miss it! Thank you Clark and Lyndsie and family!

A unique stay with warm and responsive hosts. We came with freezing temperature in the bayou so we were not able to fully enjoy what the bayou and swamp tuna can offer. But despite this ,it's a lovely stay with my family of 4.

We just came back from staying on the Swamp Tuna houseboat in Pierre Part. The houseboat was very clean, stocked with everything a person would need. The only thing we brought was our clothes. It had everything else. We had a great time and couldn’t ask for better host than Lyndsie. She answered all our questions and was there for us when we needed her. I have been telling everyone about them since we left this morning. This trip was so relaxing and beautiful with all the wild life. I would encourage Everyone to go and experience What Louisiana has to offer you won’t be sorry

Perfect camp boat for 2 adults! Got to cruise all over the lake! It’s a must to get the dingy also to be able to explore into the cypress trees! Saw lots of wildlife. Loved seeing the bald eagles!

Best vacation ever

Spent four days on the houseboat in the swamp. My kids loved every minute and said it was the best vacation they had ever been on. Boat was well provisioned and the hosts were very attentive. Highly recommended and we hope to come back in the future.

She didn’t have a Bluetooth speaker. That’s it. Everything else was provided for our needs!! The groceries are well stocked, unless you have a specific meal in mind,then bring your groceries, otherwise, you don’t hv to worry about it! For 3 glorious nights, me & the hubs had a getaway that’s unforgettable & we already want to get back there! It’s easy to feel like the only people on earth when you’re in the back of a swamp & there’s nothing around for a dozen miles but nature! One morning at 3:30 I was startled awake by gators growling at each other! Seriously, we can not wait to go back!

Quiet and relaxing getaway

The boathouse has everything you need for a relaxing time away. The space was exceptionally clean, the kitchen was fully stocked and there are lots of wildlife to watch. Thank you Clark and family for providing this hidden bayou gem!

I can’t recommend this enough!!! The houseboat was so much fun, and it’s stocked with everything you need. All the food and snacks in my pictures were provided. There is also a case of bottled waters, gallons of water for cooking, snacks, basic cooking ingredients and equipment for a boil! We drove the boat out to lake Verret, pulled into a canal and spent the night amongst the gators and nature. Full functioning bathroom, the bed was comfortable, and they even provide a box of nightcrawlers for bait. If you’re a fan of the TV show, Swamp People, you might even get to meet the Landry clan like we did!!! Great vacation!!!

Trip of a lifetime

One of the most unique and memorable trips we have ever taken. Our 3 year old had the time of his life. Clark has pulled out all the stops and is an incredible host.
