This chalet at Sandown Bay Holiday Centre sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms and is a short walk from the dog-friendly Yaverland beach.

The living room has a sofa, TV and a folding dining table. The bathroom has a toilet and an electric shower. Free WiFi is available, although this is basic WiFi and not suitable for streaming or heavy use.

The kitchen is fully equipped for your stay, with electric oven and hob, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, washing machine and all the cookware and tableware needed.

The main bedroom has a double bed and clothes storage. The bunk room has bunk beds for children.

Free parking is available on-site.

Well behaved dogs are welcome in this property. Please let us know if you are bringing a dog and follow the site rules for dogs.

Bedding (pillows, pillowcases, quilts, quilt covers, sheets) are provided and beds will be made prior to your arrival. You will need to bring your own beach and bath towels.

We provide some essentials for your arrival such as a toilet roll and hand towel in each bathroom, and some tea, coffee, milk and biscuits in the kitchen so that you can check in and relax before going shopping and starting your holiday properly.

Please note that this is self-catering. The items provided are for your arrival, not for the duration of your stay.

We can book discounted ferry tickets for you with either Wightlink or Red Funnel. If you would like us to book discounted ferry tickets for you, please ask once you have completed your booking.

Starting in orderGood-Got discount off Ferry with this booking-Outside area is good and close to the sea in YaverlandOk-Communication. Had to find out about the key situation. I suggest they use the info to update their listing / communications to avoid questions. Also never know who you are speaking too. Always reply with a name.Poor-Missing cleaning solution for bathroom. Should have 1 in kitchen and 1 in bathroom.-You are encouraged to leave 5 star feedback (or it's seen as negative) as mentioned in the welcome back.-Needs modernising as you will see points below.Per room review-Lounge shutter stuck so sitting down you are getting constant sunlight. Only left top window opens.There is wifi which is good. 15mbps download is sufficient for needs.-Kitchen cutlery was dirty. Utensils water washed. Tea towel was black (should be replaced with a new one). We ended up limited to what was used in the kitchen and brought our own supplies.Toaster should be replaced.-Bathroom has mould. An extractor fan would help.The toilet is black at the bottom. Needs proper cleaning (from the cleaning team). The shower area needs new sealant and the door has no lock.-Master bedroom is missing 1 fan (as shown in picture)Having been to IOW before the accommodation elsewhere was much higher on the cleanliness scale.Got along with neighbours and locals. Safety wise nothing to worry about.

Most of our properties are dog friendly and many are open all year round. We also have some properties that do not allow dogs.

All properties have bedding included and you'll find some essentials in the property for your arrival.

We can book discounted ferry tickets with either Wightlink or Red Funnel, subject to availability. Early booking is essential during school holidays.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

There are three car ferry routes to the Isle of Wight, operated by Wightlink from Portsmouth and Lymington, and Red Funnel from Southampton. We can book discounted ferry tickets for you with both Wightlink and Red Funnel, subject to terms and availability.

If you are travelling by public transport, we recommend that you travel by Wightlink Fastcat or Hovertravel Hovercraft from Portsmouth to Ryde. There are frequent bus services from Ryde to Seaview.

The easiest way to see the island is by car. Free parking is available on-site.

If you don't have a car, the No.8 bus stops right outside Sandown Bay Holiday Centre and takes you to Bembridge, St Helens and Ryde, or the other way to Sandown, Shanklin and Newport. The Island Breezer bus can take you to Ventnor, the Needles and Alum Bay and to Yarmouth.

Sandown Bay Holiday Centre is in Sandown, Isle of Wight. Sandown is a popular tourist destination, well known for miles of sandy beaches, running from Culver in the North, through Yaverland, Sandown and Shanklin to Luccombe in the South..

A right turn down the coastal path from the holiday centre takes you down to the dog-friendly Yaverland Beach, which is great for families too.

A left turn up the coastal path takes you to the open fields of Culver Down, with magnificent views across the island. At the top of Culver Down is the dog-friendly Culver Haven Inn.

Close to Sandown Bay Holiday Centre are the Isle of Wight Zoo with lions and tigers. At the chalets, you can hear the lions roar! Also close by to the holiday centre is Dinosaur Isle, Britain's first purpose built dinosaur museum. Dinosaur Isle run fossil hunting walks on Yaverland beach.

Sandown town centre is a short drive from the holiday centre and has small supermarkets and a range of gift and other shops. Sandown Pier is also in Sandown town centre.
