Tout s’est bien passé, le logement est très bien placé et pratique. Une amélioration de l’éclairage dans le logement serait appréciable.

Convenient Location

This property was not what we expected. First the courtyard was filthy not at all what was pictured. The “master bedroom “ bathroom was dangerous everything in bathroom got wet when we showered and used up towels to dry things. We asked for more dry towels, they never were delivered. Final morning no hot water which was disappointing. We loved the location, wonderful restaurants near and we were able to walk everywhere.

Walkable location

Beautiful location on side street of amazing lovely neighbourhood. House has everything you need to rest- beautifully and tastefully appointed and decorated. Would stay again- very good experience.

Just ok

The actual place is not as perfect as the pictures. The apartment was clean, but had a musty smell. The place is much much darker than the pictures. The beds were comfortable, but we slept in the room with the 2 beds because the place was warm and that was the only room with an actual air condition device. In my opinion, the terrace was not inviting like the pictures reflect. Overall, place is just ok. Lastly, there were some nice places to eat in the areas and public transportation is accessible.

Filthy bedding, ac not connected, bath unusable it was toilet and shower in one tiny space. Mosquitos, absolutely horrible. Will be calling to get money back.

Nice location

We appreciated the location. It was near Santo Spirito church, the Pitti Palace, the Boboli Gardens, the Ponte Vechio and more. The apartment has the charm of an old building along with the downsides such as very few outlets, little lighting, and a bathroom that was difficult to use. That bathroom had a single bulb light fixture (that flickered then burned out during our stay), had a big step down to enter, along with limited head room, and a shower with no enclosure so if you used it, you’d make the whole bathroom wet. It was okay because we used it as a washroom and shared the shower in the other bathroom. The furnishings were aged, especially the couch. The kitchen had most of the essentials although we had to buy sugar and paper towels. The air conditioning worked well in the bigger bedroom and there was a swamp cooler that cooled the other bedroom well at night. I suspect that in the hottest months, the rest of the apartment would be hot. There is a small outdoor seating area in a courtyard but it overlooks the laundry and wasn’t very clean. The unit overall was clean other than the floors which had probably been swept but not mopped since bare feet got dirty quickly.

Charming Florence apartment

Overall, we had a good stay in this cute traditional Florence apartment with my family on vacation! There were a few issues when we arrived such as several of the lights being out in hallways and bathroom, and the AC that took a little bit of figuring out. The short was very responsive to our needs however and prompted repairs to these right away. The main concern that we had though is one of the bathrooms connected to the bedroom(that was not shown in the photos) is a bit treacherous with a large step that’s low, and we hit our head on the frame multiple times. Not anyone’s fault, but safety may be a concern if you are traveling with disabilities or the elderly. Overall, our host was great and fixed all of the issues that could be fixed, we just wished the photos and description of property was more transparent.

Short stay in Florence 10/10

Cute property, very nice appartement. Clean and nice neighbourhood. The owner is super nice and reactive, she helped us as much as she could. We had little issues with wifi, but nothing bad, overall an amazing stay.

Great location without being busy

The property was in a great location within easy walking distance of all the main attractions in Florence. It was also located in a part of the city that was thankfully quiet at night instead of some of the busier, noisier streets elsewhere in Florence.

Appartamento Oltrarno

Appartamento a due passi da San Sepolcro, in una zona molto viva di Firenze. Ha due camere, due bagni, una zona giorno con tanto di caminetto. E una terrazza coperta in una corte interna. C'è tutto quello che serve. Da consigliare e da ritornarci!!
