This comfortable apartment is located a few steps from the Vatican and San Pietro Station. It can accommodate up to 4 people and consists of a living area with dining table and kitchenette, a small sitting room with sofa bed, a double bedroom and two bathrooms (one of which is en-suite). The apartment is located on the ground floor and is located in an area well served by metro and bus. Nearby there are supermarkets, bars and restaurants. In just under 10 minutes on foot you can reach Piazza San Pietro and in 20 minutes Trastevere and the historic center.
The moment you walk in youâre hit with the stale smell of cigarettes. We were given one towel each for a five night stay. There were absolutely no amenities except for a roll and a half of toilet paper and WiFi. The apartment is below ground level..the windows level with the sidewalk. There is no air conditioning so you had to leave the barred windows open so the pedestrian and street noise were unbearable from the crack of dawn until midnight. The electrical outlets were damaged in some of the rooms. The sofa was literally peeling and terribly worn. The entire place is a fire hazard since the windows have bars on them leaving you with one way out in case of a fire. The kitchen was filthy even the washing machine had mold in it. I sent a message to the host and got no response. The only one that responded back to me was Emanuele he was the man that let us into the apartment. I asked if the host could find us another rental but to no avail. My advice..stay away from this property.
