Spanning the three spacious floors of a beautiful, recently-renovated period building, and furnished in a tasteful blend of international sophistication and local charm, allow us to welcome you to your new home away from home!
Second floor Apartment
Finally, the top floor: two double bedrooms (1.60 x 2.00 m and 1.50 x 1.90 m) and one single room (90 x 1.90 m), for that one friend you like least đ, that turns into a double should the need arise (thereâs space!). As with the other two apartments, a shiny new bathroom, a fully-equipped kitchen, lightning-fast internet, air-conditioning and a gorgeous view from the private terrace are all included. Come see for yourself!
As for the area - imagine being 5 minutes on foot from both Alicanteâs main restaurant district (âMercadoâ) with its modernist covered market hall, and Santa Cruz - the famous old town full of old terraces and hip bars. The flats are right in front of the imposing Castle of Santa Barbara, which boasts the best view over Alicante, and a stoneâs throw away from the cityâs main cultural area, including the recently unveiled Cigarreras creativity hub: a converted former tobacco factory, now home to a suite of vertical gardens, exhibition spaces and trendy restaurants and bars.
The nearest beach is a mere 10 minutes away, or you can go on an adventure, take the coastal tram (the nearest station is MARQ, 200 m) and discover the sandy coves and rocky shores of the Costa Blanca that burnish Alicanteâs reputation as a sun-and-sea destination extraordinaire. Another day trip not to miss is to the enchanting island of Tabarca, once taken over by Italian pirates, but nowadays tranquil and loot-free as a protected natural area with exceptional snorkelling sights to rival the Red Sea.
If old culture is more your style, Alicanteâs award-winning archaeological museum is 500m away, the Museum of Modern Art only a step further (900m), and the Aguas de Alicante museum, famous for its 12th century Arabic drinking wells, is.. well, very close too, we havenât had the chance to measure the distance just yet.
Finally if you ever get tired of being outside, Alicanteâs largest shopping mall is only a short walk away and features a cinema, various restaurants and a supermarket. The Vitas hospital is also nearby.
When itâs time to leave, thereâs a direct airport shuttle stop no more than 200m away from the flats. Public parking is also at 5 minutes walking distance (Lopez Osaba(1 âŹ/hr, 11 âŹ/day) and Alfonso El Sabio).
