Helmingham Hall is nearby (9.8 miles) and is a lovely place to visit with its magnificent hall, gardens, and events throughout the year. The heritage coastline is within easy reach too, with the hidden seaside gem of Dunwich only 14 miles away. Pack up a picnic and while away the day on the pebble beach during your stay, before heading into the popular town of Southwold for a fish and chip supper.
This charming cottage, at the centre of the village, is a great holiday home for a couple or family of four looking for a countryside getaway in Suffolk. Deceptively spacious, the property has a generous reception room with comfy sofas, a Smart TV, and a roaring wood burner for cosying up to in the chillier months. The farmhouse-style kitchen is equipped with all the essentials for your self-catering stay and with ample storage in the pantry too. The character is continued in the separate dining room, with an electric wood burner effect fire and a large wooden dining table, it is a lovely spot for enjoying meals throughout the day, but especially in the evenings for romantic suppers. Upstairs is equally spacious with two bedrooms, one double with built-in wardrobes and views of the church, and a further twin bedroom, both sharing the family bathroom.
The outside space offers a private enclosed courtyard garden to the rear with a dining table and chairs, charcoal BBQ, and a secure shed for storing bicycles. The front garden captures the evening sun and overlooks the Grade I Listed church opposite.
