Tregatreath

A comfortable and picturesque home offering breath-taking panoramic sea views. With five large bedrooms and over 1.5 acres of semi-wild clifftop garden to explore, Tregatreath is the perfect place for families or a group of friends looking for a peaceful coastal getaway.

Tregatreath can accommodate up to 13 guests over five large bedrooms. Three bedrooms have Super King beds with two of those containing additional single beds (three in total). There are an additional two bedrooms with King size beds and a cot is also available if required. You'll find a family bathroom with a bath, separate shower, basin, and WC. There's also a ground floor WC for convenience, along with an additional WC on the first floor.

The interior features a spacious and comfortable living area, with a host of books and games ideal for family nights in. The well-equipped kitchen provides all the amenities you need to prepare delicious meals, whether you're hosting a family feast or take in the magnificent sea views whilst having a casual lunch out on the large veranda.

The quaint village of Coverack is a picturesque fishing community in the heart of Cornwall. Home to a stunning beach, beautiful harbour, charming shops and welcoming cafes. Discover the beauty of the coastal paths as you embark on invigorating walks or if you're seeking adventure, indulge in water sports, such as windsurfing, paddleboarding, or kayaking.

Please note when booking:
- The outdoor pool is not in use in the garden, and we would ask guests to refrain from using this area
- The garden includes some steep steps and pathways, and may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility. There are also a couple of small ponds so please ensure all children are supervised at all times
- The property has parking for up to 4 cars
- Tregatreath is a family-friendly property. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate student groups, stag/hen parties, large groups, or events.

We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful 6-night family getaway as a group of 13. The setting is truly spectacular—nestled in a beautiful garden with breathtaking views. The house was adequately equipped for a large group, offering plenty of space to relax and unwind. While there wasn’t a single large dining table, we easily adapted and still shared memorable meals together. We would gladly return for another stay.

Coverack itself is a lovely village with a lot more going on than you expect. Property was clean, beds were comfortable, slightly outdated decor. Would recommend.

A great place for a family get together

A great place for a family get together. A great location. The house has a lovely exterior terrace to enjoy the view of the sea, but also a lovely interior sun lounge so if chillyrainy outside a really nice place to stay cosy yet still enjoy the sea views. The house also has very good double glazing so it nice and warm. A great place to stay.

Glorious location, beautiful house

It&#39s a glorious house in a fabulous location - nearer the lovely village of Coverack than we were expecting, which was a bonus, and we could walk in. Beds so comfortable, and rooms so spacious. Very well equipped as regards machines - laundry, dishwasher and so on. Lots of great toys for small children, beautiful wood burner for autumn and winter evenings. Gorgeous garden with neat lawns near the house and a wild expanse. Odd and sad to have the disused swimming pool and we wish them luck with recommissioning it in the future.

Tregatreath is a lovely house in a beautiful spot.

Beds were very comfortable. We had difficulties with locks to the front door and veranda was only accessible from one side as lock other end was broken. Only one bathroom with bath and shower plus 2 separate toilets. We had 7 people and was cramped in the kitchen. We had a lovely holiday but some maintenance needs doing to make guests more comfortable. Last day the hot water stopped working. Housekeepers came very quickly when we had problems but finest retreats are not available 9to 5pm

Excellent location but a tired place

The views are amazing. The garden fantastic even if overgrown. Shame about the pool! Very spacious upstairs and lovely sized bedrooms. Easy walk into the village and such a good beach Good parking space for 4 cars! Balcony was superb in the mornings and good to dolphin spot in the evenings Could do with instructions for Aga, microwave and dishwasher! Dining table too small for number of people in the house. Dining area too small! Put the table outside in the end to accommodate our 10 ! No egg cups Frying pans awful Only 2 tea towels for a week and no pan scrubbers. Only 2 disposable cloths provided No sets of glasses. Just an odd mix (only 4 wine glasses!!) No mirror in one bedroom Garden furniture (eg deckchairs) would be good. No key from kitchen to the garage! Key safe code at the rear did not match the one we were given for the front

You are certainly right about the beautiful views, nothing quite compares to a trip to the beach and a dolphin sighting definitely sounds like perfection! Even I am jealous. I am happy you found the comfort within the spacious property.
