An oasis of serenity between comfort and fun

Immersed in the Sicilian countryside among orange groves, the villa offers its guests tranquility and comfort. Swimming pool, barbecue, large verandas and large lawns give everything you need to disconnect from the frenzy of everyday life and dedicate yourself to yourself.

The location is strategic. Pedagaggi is a small village in the center between the provinces of Catania and Syracuse and ideal for those who want to discover the beauty of the Iblei Mountains.

Ideal for two people, it also has a comfortable 1/2 seater sofa bed.

The house and the swimming pool are for the exclusive use of our guests, no one can access from the outside.

The property is completely fenced but some cats that have been petted by other guests may visit you. You will have the choice to consider or ignore them, but keep this option in mind.

The price includes all the services of the house and 80 kWh of electricity consumption per week. The excess costs €0.50 per kWh.

The pool may not be available from October 1st to May 31st, if this is important to you, please inquire before confirming.

We had a wonderfull time at this place. The house is small but very confortable for 2 or a small family. It had everything we needed. The outside part is the best, with beautiful garden full of flowers, a big pool, and very good privacy. The staff was amazing.

We had a lovely week at this fabulous villa - location and facilities are excellent and the hosts (and Francesco) were extremely friendly and accommodating. The villa has everything you could need, and the grounds and pool are fantastic!

The perfect oasis to relax

We absolutely loved our stay in Pedagaggi - if you‘re looking for a vacation away from any trouble you can find silence on your pricatw property with a huge pool, your own lemon trees and no neighbors. We will definitely come back!

Idyllic setting

We had a wonderful relaxing stay here. The surroundings are beautiful and well maintained with a very good sized pool. The hosts couldn’t be more helpful and were very happy to help with recommendations of places to visit. Francesco was amazing helping to translate for us all! A really idyllic setting and we were able to relax and enjoy our time on Scilly.

Trully a peaceful haven

Photos are accurate. A comfortable rustic house with a lovely garden and pool that provides a secluded peaceful haven for a relaxing time. Surrounded by orange and olive groves. Nice cantina in local village and other restaurants 20 min drive away. Key tourist sites in the east of the island are 1-2 hrs away. You will return home very rested. A warm welcome from Franco, the owner, and Francesca who is a very attentive guide for the visitor, always available on WhatsApp, and speaks great English.

Beautiful house in the countryside and perfect hospitality

We had an amazing time during our stay at Franco's and Graziella's house. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Francesco, a friend of the family, was always very helpful, translating everything into English for us. The house was beautiful, super clean, and we had everything we needed. The highlight was definitely the large pool and stunning garden. You can see that someone put a lot of work and love into this. Whenever we had questions, it was very easy to reach Francesco, and he and Franco were always very helpful. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday, the place is the perfect fit! We'd always consider coming back to Franco's and Graziella's house once we are back in Sicily and would recommend it right away to our friends or family.
 Grazie mille, Franco, Graziella, and Francesco, per un tempo benissimo. Ci vediamo la prossima!

Beyond expectations!

From the moment of arrival we were met with such warmth by the owners, absolutely loved the way they received us. Blown away by the beauty of the garden and house. The house, pool and garden was a lot better than expected and described. We were overall happily surprised and we highly recommend this house as a private vacation getaway with beautiful surroundings and view of Etna from the terrace - like stepping into a true feeling of a Sicilian family home. An open kitchen with everything needed. A fireplace for the chilly or romantic evenings if needed. The outdoor kitchen with both an original pizza oven and grill on the opposite side of the dining table gives you all the possibilities of creating beautiful culinary tastes of Sicily. The details of the garden is a cross between vintage and modern. During the day all the different angles of the garden gives you something new to enjoy wherever you choose to sit or lay, the lighting throughout the area brings it together at night. Love this place.

A very relaxing stay at a quiet and secluded villa in the countryside

We had a wonderful stay at this property. We stayed for 3 nights whilst travelling around Sicily by hire car. It is very private and secluded. The garden is larger than we expected and has been cared for by the owners with beautiful flowers and fruit trees. The villa is perfect for 2 people with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and open plan kitchen/ dining and sitting area. We spent most of our stay outside either by or in the pool or on the large veranda which has lots of places to sit including a dining table and chairs. There is also an outdoor kitchen area with pizza oven, bbq, washing up facilities as well as another large table and chairs. The owners are very friendly and met us on arrival and departure. They also employ Francesco to translate for them between English and Italian. He is extremely helpful and contacted us on WhatsApp to introduce himself and arranged to meet us in Buccheri the nearby town to show us to the villa. A car is essential to stay here as whilst it is on the edge of a small village it is not served by public transport with the nearest town about 20 mins drive. For us that was part of its charm!

Sicilian Hideaway

The villa is a small, traditional , rustic property set is a sizeable plot in a less often visited part of Sicily. It is secure and gated and suitable for 2-4 people. Inside it is compact but there is plenty of outdoor space for al fresco dining on the patios . Down a series of gentle steps is a very well maintained pool . Beautiful clear water which is illuminated every evening which makes the garden area special and welcoming, with beautiful sunsets and views of Mount Etna. The villa is traditionally styled inside with gas hob etc , a TV is provided but not a smart one which would be useful but not essential. We were welcomed by Marco and his family together with Francesco who speaks excellent english. Marco lives in nearby Buccheri , we bumped into him there and he kindly showed us around and introduced us to the local granita and fabulous Ricotta cheese , So good , be sure to try it. Marco also introduced us to a local restaurant Mimmo , a great place for lunch in Buccheri . We used the villa as a base to explore the region. Syracuse and the beautiful Isle of Ortigia were our favourites. if your in the area seek out the Flamingo soul sea restaurant at Augusta for excellent sea food.

Satisfying relaxation away from the world

Having been delayed upon arrival to Sicily, it was wonderful to be greeted at the villa by Franco, Graziella and Francesco, I had given them an arrival time that was exceeded by 2 hours, they were very welcoming & hospitable. The journey to the villa is an experience, I’d say the roads in Sicily are engaging but all that aside the villa was fantastic, very secluded & surrounded by ample land, which house different fruit & olive trees etc we were offered the goods to use at our disposals, lemons olives.. the garden is more beautiful in person, the pool is a great size and catches the sun all day, so if shade is needed then you can use the outside dining area, comes equipped with kitchen sink, BBQ, Hammock and for night time there’s an electric insect zapper. Inside the villa is ideal for the 2 persons it houses, the kitchens a good size (hob runs on camping gas) there’s air con, bedroom has a ceiling fan (little bit noisy) you have a tv unfortunately not many non Italian channels. Wi-Fi which is open to use. My only criticism is the shower, not enough water pressure and quite a small size cubicle, whenever we turned on the water taps the lights would flicker so not sure how the two are interconnected?? Our stay was amazing,, plenty to do and explore on Sicily but be prepared to drive far and on dodgy roads… one last thing, you pay a surcharge on electricity if you go over the allowance, which is easy done. Fantastic stay and will definitely return. Thanks for a wonderful stay

We're sorry you had a problem with the road, sometimes sat navs create wrong routes. Now we suggest the best route to our guests! Thanks for the suggestion, we will have the water pressure checked and for the shower we will try an alternative even if the one present is a standard size.
