Small Luxury Apartment

The independent apartment has a separate entrance from the street and is about 60m2. It has 2 airco’s, a bathroom with shower, bidet, toilet as well as towels and bathrobes. Furthermore a pantry with fridge, microwave, coffee machine etc. In the pantry area, there is a table to work at or for having breakfast. In the large bedroom is a comfortable king-size bed with 2 single mattresses, a seating area and an extra desk or dressing table. A washing machine is available.

Our host met us at the boat stop when we first arrived, which was very helpful. Nice bed and large living area. Convenient to many placed in Venice. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a very pleasant stay. Martin was an accommodating host, even helping us get our bags to San Giglio on departure; the flat is perfectly located between Campo San Mauritzio and the Grand Canal, a quiet neighborhood yet convenient to the bustle of San Marco. Only downsides: there is no water plumbed into the “kitchen;” and one morning we awoke to an unpleasant smell of sewer gas, which continued off and on that one day. But that may simply be endemic to Venezia, a city built on and surrounded by water..

We had a fabulous stay in the heart of Venezia with easy walking everywhere. Martin our host was just lovely, nothing was a problem and he helped with travel and restaurant options. Can highly recommend this apartment.

Always sad to leave Venice but the compensation was staying in Martin’s wonderful apartment. Great location, beautifully presented and very considerate host. The bed alone deserves its own gold award!

Martin is an absolute super host! If you are in Venice I highly recommend staying with him. The apartment is clean and such a beautiful space! Martin gave amazing recommendations for things to do and places to eat, was very fortunate to have such an amazing host in such an amazing space!

Apartment near the Grand Canal in Venice

The apartment is very clean and nicely decorated with tasteful art and loads of interesting books. The bed is very comfy. The apartment is not designed to allow any self catering apart from coffee, tea and continental breakfast. There is no sink in the 'kitchen' area and only a small sink in the bijou bathroom, so washing up is tricky. Martin was very pleasant on our arrival and provided a list of places to eat out, though we did our own thing. Recommend buying the over shoe knee high covers if the rain starts. They were a godsend as it poured down for most of our stay. ☔️

Appartement très bien situé à proximité de tout avec un hôte d’une grande gentillesse et disponible. Nous avons apprécié cet endroit et je la recommande sans hésitation. Il n’est pas possible de cuisiner mais les restaurants sont partout autour.

Great apartment and host

Martin was the perfect host for our stay in Venice. He was extremely accommodating for an early check in and responded quickly to my messages. He also gave a lot of excellent local recommendations. The apartment is very close to San Marco square which allowed us to be able to pop “home” for a quick rest before going out again, but because it is down a side street it is extremely quiet and peaceful. We would love to stay there again!

Everything was perfect for our 2-night stay. The accommodations were comfortable, spotless, quiet and fabulous location - a short walk to St Marks, close to shopping and exquisite restaurants. Our host, Martin, could not have been nicer or more accommodating- he even did laundry for us. Definitely a five star rating.

Wonderful Host, Amazing Location

Don’t hesitate to book here! It was a wonderful experience! Venice is a bit different because you’re depending on a water transportation system and that’s not the norm for most people. We were a little nervous about navigating but the communication with our host was remarkable! If you’re looking for a great base for your trip to Venice, this is it! Bring an empty suitcase, the shopping will get ya!! There’s no “kitchen” but there is a coffee maker and a microwave if you need it. The bathroom is on the smaller size and could use a little more space to put down toiletries. I wouldn’t take any stars off for either of those though. Everyone has different needs when they travel and I’m sure if you asked, Martin would figure out a way to make everything perfect specifically for you! He even helped with our laundry so we could get right out and start exploring! We wanted to leave a little later than checkout time and he allowed us to leave our bags for a couple of extra hours. It was truly a wonderful experience. I would absolutely rent here again!

This property was much more than we expected. The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable. It was close to all the sights and restaurants in Venice. Martin was a great host. He could give lessons in how to run a vacation rental...

One of our best vacation rental experiences ever. Martin is a brilliant host - kind, prompt, efficient and extremely helpful. Though the kitchen is very basic, this charming suite (a 15 second walk from the Grand Canal) is thoughtfully, imaginatively and generously outfitted with just about anything you might need. And there are tons of lovely books in multiple languages. If Venice wasn't so alluring I would have stayed in and looked at them all. We would happily visit again.

Charming & Romantic

What a charming space in the heart of Venice! Martin was terrific with communication: directions/vaporetto #'s to location, restaurants, grocery and attractions, even completed the tourist tax exempt form for us. He met us at the property and went over everything, handed keys. We were greeted with fresh fruit, plenty of teas/coffees with filtered water jug as well. The space is basically a well equipped studio w/small fridge, washer and lovely outdoor patio garden. Super comfy king bed and furniture!! Robes and plenty of toiletries for your stay. Wifi is spotty and there is no TV if that's a need. There's so much to see and do you won't miss not having one, I promise! Perfect for a romantic getaway to Venice! ❤️ Absolutely would stay again!
