Sparrows Nest - UKC6437
Whitewells Farm cottages were the first holiday cottages in Herefordshire to have been converted from existing farm buildings into individual self-catering holiday homes in 1978.. Ground Floor:
Living/dining room: Freeview TV
Kitchen: Breakfast Area, Electric Cooker, Electric Hob, Fridge/Freezer
First Floor:
Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Ensuite: Bath, Toilet. Central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. The holiday cottages on Whitewells Farm all feature original beams throughout, half-cruck trusses and some have vaulted ceilings and beamed room divisions. Situated in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside, Whitewells Farm has a collection of individually styled barn conversions for you to stay in. This one bedroom cottage is set in the original vast doorway of the old barn where the hinge posts can still be seen. The cosy living/dining area leads into a compact fitted kitchen. The half-landing staircase leads to a double bedroom and en-suite bathroom.
The Black and White Trail, The Elgar Route, Cheltenham, and an abundance of National Trust properties, to name just a few of the fascinating places to explore from your base at Whitewells Farm. Being placed close to the main routes to Hereford, Worcester, Ledbury and Bromyard mean that access to towns and cities in all directions couldnât be simpler. Do you enjoy the splendour of regency buildings? Cheltenham, Leamington Spa and of course Hereford have some wonderful examples all within an hourâs drive. Being a border county means there are a wealth of medieval castles and houses to spend time visiting. Do you like walking? The views of the Malvern Hills from your cottage could inspire you to take that long promised walk from British Camp along one of the seven most popular trails taking in wonderful views across Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire.
Locally there are nature reserves, great swathes of common land and lovely interesting walks in this varied countryside that changes with each season. From Ludlowâs eateries, restaurants and delisâ to Ledburyâs abundance of award-winning butchers and independent cafes, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershireâs food offerings just keep getting better and better. Fabulous farm shops, fantastic food festivals, innovative offerings from artisan producers and the very best selection of local beers and ciders make these counties gastronomically unbeatable. Pub and restaurant 1œ miles.
