This apartment owns its name to its obviously wonderful view over the city monuments and hill surrounding Florence.
This nice 40 m2 loft is on the 6th and last floor of a Historic Renaissance palace with Elevator. It has a brand new kitchen fully equipped, it can accommodate 4 people (2 in the bedroom on the mezzanine and 2 in the living room on the sofa bed), bathroom with shower, Air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. The elevator goes straight to the 6th floor, then there are 3 steps on the stairs to reach the entrance door. Inside you will find the living room in front of you and the brand new bathroom (with a very spacious shower) to the right. Further ahead to the right there is the dining area and the fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom is on the mezzanine. It is 5 minutes walking stance from the Ponte Vecchio and The Uffizi gallery and from 10 to 20 minutes walking distance from all the others main monuments and museums. Clean sheets and towels are included and they will be provided according to the number of guests.
Lovely apartment for a stay in Florence. Nice, open floor plan. Be forewarned you will need to climb stairs to reach the bed in an upper loft. The apartment has two air units - a true blessing for hot days. Communication was excellent and a nice âhow toâ booklet explaining how to use the air units, heating system, and restaurant recommendations was made available. The only concern we had had nothing to do with the actual apartment- just the buildingâs elevator. While it was nice to have access to, it was a bit concerning due to the elevatorâs floor sagging and creaking.
My husband and I stayed here about a week and it was a perfect location! A close walk to everything but just on the edge of all the tourists so it was quiet at night and very peaceful! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to any friends or family traveling to Italy!
The communication with House Flo was exceptional!! The location was perfect for us and our plans. We loved the Netflix also for the quiet evenings inside. Thank you House Flo!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The host was very accommodating and responded in a timely manner. He even came to the property when we couldn't figure something out. You can walk to shopping and dining options. Highly recommend.
My only recommendation is more specific instructions to find the building. It's to the back but I first entered the wrong building and tried to access the wrong unit.

The apartment was a wonderful place to stay in Florence. Itâs on the side of the river away from the main tourist sites, but surrounded by amazing restaurants. The bathroom was wonderful, kitchen was small but really functional, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Iâd stay here again anytime. We had a great and helpful checkin and the host was very responsive to our questions. Highly recommend!
Matias communicated well in advance of our stay.
Matias met us and gave comprehensive orientation to the apartment and to the area. He was outstanding! We only had the chance to try one of his restaurant recommendations and it is now on our permanent list!
The location is wonderful, just 1/2 block from the Pitti Palace.
Very close to two grocery stores! We enjoyed brewing coffee every morning in the apartment.
We will try to rent it again when we come back next trip.
In previous visits to Florence, we have not stayed in the Oltrarno neighborhood of the city. In future visits, weâll stay nowhere else. While our stay was brief, in order to visit a design school our daughter hopes to attend, Matiasâs recommendations helped us make the most of each day and meal. What a beautiful space Matias has curated! We so appreciated its location, its comfort, and especially its views! This is a really, really lovely space, comfortable for four and located in a quiet block of a central avenue. We highly recommend it to others!
We enjoyed our stay here. Lovely old 16th century building. Apartment is on the 6th floor and has an elevator. Nice view of the Duomo from one of the windows. Conveniently located near the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens. Just a few minutes walk to Ponte Vecchio. The best part is it is just far enough on the Oltrarno side to be away from the hordes of tourists. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. The host was friendly and helpful before and during our stay.
This is a gorgeous place is a perfect location, and if it werenât for a few minor issues Iâd have given it a solid 5 stars.....Often when I was leaving the apartment after dark, the area outside the apartment door was totally dark, and I needed the flashlight on my phone. A motion-sensor light there would be very useful. Thereâs a light switch for the hallway when getting off the elevator at night, but no light in the hall getting to the elevator at night. Also, I think the washing machine needs a good cleaning, as itâs getting and smelling a little moody; visitors should be told to leave the door open a little after a load to let it dry. Finally, I wish Iâd gotten a little more info about separating recyclable garbage (maybe people are happier not separating, but I would have liked to)
This apartment was lovely beyond my expectations and perfectly located. The view of the Duomo was rather magical.
Check in was easy and Leonardo gave us great information.
Just know that the bedroom is upstairs in the loft and the bathroom is not. We were aware of that and it was not a problem.....it just made life a little more interesting!
This apartment is absolutely stunning inside and the view of the duomo is breathtaking. The renovated bathroom was amazing and the shower is the best weâve had in our trip. The area is great for food and walkable to anything you want to see. Do not pass up this apartment, it is perfect.
Having never been to Firenze we chose this property based on map location and previous reviews. Wow, what a great location! So easy to get around, walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go and plenty of restaurants to choose from. An easy taxi ride from the train station.
So, walk (at a leisurely pace) for 7 minutes down the road and across a bridge over the Arno into the city center, or go another direction into the Piazza Santo Spirito (Cathedral and restaurants), or the opposite way to the Pitti Palace and the Boboli Gardens. Our personal favorite for food is Gustapanino, (Piazza Santo Spirito, 1, 50125 Firenze FI, Italy) if you like ravioli, try theirs!
One of the nicest VRBOs we have ever rented! Great views from all the many windows, new kitchen, wonderful bathroom, comfy loft bed. We couldn't have been happier. Lorenzo checked us in and gave us loads of useful information. The rental is located Near the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens and just a short walk to the Ponte Vecchio. Of course, everywhere is walkable, but this neighborhood has just the right amount of quiet and hubbub. Square of Santo Spirito is a great place to hang out and watch people. The apartment is furnished nicely, with an especially comfortable bed in the loft area. The kitchen is perfectly outfitted, although there are so many great restaurants in Florence that you may only want to make coffee there. I would love to return someday.
This wonderful apartment with rooftop views of the center
of Firenze is spacious, comfortable and has all the amenities
you will need. Close to all the historic sites but nicely situated in the Oltrarno neighborhood. Very clean with a newly renovated bathroom and convenient elevator it is the perfect location to enjoy your Florentine holiday. We would definitely
stay here again when we return to Firenze and highly recommend it anyone who is travelling to this fantastic city.
Great apartment in a great location. We had a very enjoyable stay. Check in and check out is very easy and weâre given lots of tips and recommendations for out visit. Highly recommend this apartment and will stay again on our next trip to Florence.
Arrival was quick and easy, we got the train from Rome, public transport is very good, a nice young man was waiting for us on arrival, showed us around the apartment, he explained everything in full, everything was great, very well equipped apartment in a fabulous area, dishwasher and washing machine came in very handy, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen was there, lots of shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep, plenty of towels and toiletries, the new bathroom is wonderful, nice big shower, plenty of hot water, very comfortable bed and nice linen, we couldnât have wished for more, I would highly recommend this apartment.
Perfect stay in a beautiful apartment in the best part of the city!
We stayed in four different apartments during our stay, and this one was by far our favorite. The apartment was in a central location near some of the best restaurants in the city. The person who checked us in was on time, thorough, and very friendly. The apartment had everything we needed and more. We could not have been more pleased.
My Name is Matias, I was born and raised in Florence. I worked a few years in a tourist rental agency, then, after traveling around Europe and the World (just a part of it),I decided to come back to my city and I started managing apartments on behalf of the owners. With the help of my coworkers and the experience we know what it is need to ensure you a perfect stay in the city.
You will have a wonderful and private experience, but we will be always available in case you will need it, not only for emergencies, but also simply if youâll need advice or any kind of tip about Florence.
