We loved our stay in Tropea and will definitely be back at Adriano’s place! Adriano was a fantastic host - the apartment had everything we needed and the views were incredible. Tropea is an excellent holiday destination with lots of restaurants and a fun vibe. The beaches are beautiful - we would love to be back in the summer months.

Best View in Tropea

Adriano's two apartments were the perfect place for our families to spend time together. Both apartments are spacious, clean, nicely decorated and have amazing terrace spaces. We love Tropea and look forward to coming back to Adriano's in the future.

Gorgeous views. Apartment is also stunning, comfortable, and clean, tucked away behind our favorite cozy restaurant. While everyone is watching the sunset at the view points in town, we had our own private view from the sweeping balconies. Adriano is a perfect host. He picked us up by our car and brought our baggage when we arrived and brought us back when we left. He is responsive and helpful. Cannot recommend more.

The BEST place to stay in Tropea

We absolutely loved our stay at Adriano’s place in Tropea. Without question, it’s the best location in the town - incredible view, very close to the Corso as well as the stairs to the beach. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, though like most places can be very hot in the summer without AC (but there are fans). Adriano is a tremendous host, and was super communicative and helpful as much as we needed right from booking through checkout. My traveling companion, who is staying in Italy, has already booked another stay!

Peaceful paradise

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this one of a kind old world gem. You will never tire of the sweeping surreal views of the beautiful coastline from your own wrap around deck high above the beach and the sound of the ocean was so relaxing. The location could not be beat, as it was right in the center of the village. The food and wine were abundant and affordable. Our host, Adriano, was very responsive and helpful. We would love to return someday. Highly recommend.

Week of perfection in Tropea

My sister and I spent the last week of May here. We cannot rave enough about our location, the apartment, the views are over the top beautiful, we never missed a sunset in tropea. Most of them were from our patio. The apartment has everything you will need. And our host Adriano was a very caring and gracious gentleman. If you have the opportunity to go boating for the day, we highly suggest doing a private boat tour with Adriano. We had a friend join us and it was a perfect day, that would be hard to top. The town of tropea is my favourite in my 10 years of Annual pilgrimage to Italy, I will be back next year for longer.

Best view and location in Tropea!!

Adriano was extremely responsive and helpful. This prior has the absolute best view of Tropea. The terrace is huge with such an amazing set up to have dinner outside or just lay out all day and read a book. The apartment was equally big with all necessary amenities needed to stay. Adriano was very thoughtful and left a bowl full of delicious local fruits for my stay as well as gave me great restaurant recommendations and things to do I highly recommend this location if looking to visit Tropea!

Tantalising Tropea

From the moment we arrived, Adriano was helpful and welcoming. He helped us find the best free parking spot, and then picked us up and took us to the apartment to avoid the parking taxes in the Centro Storico. We entered the apartment with a chorus of “wows”. The apartment could not have been in a better spot to enjoy the delicious views of Tropea. Tropea and its coast did not disappoint. We ate like kings, we sailed along the coast, we chilled on the balcony and we swam in the sea, enjoying fantastic sunsets and never tiring of the wonder views in all directions. Adriano was helpful throughout, a discreet and relaxed host. Thank you- will definitely recommend.

Spectacular views

The apartment was everything we had hoped for. The wrap-around balcony has the best views in Tropea, located right in front of the monastery and Stromboli volcano. 3 sets of doors, including that of the main bedroom, open out onto the balcony with only the twin room located to the rear. There is a good sized eating area to the side of the balcony and plenty of room for seating to the front. It is in an idyllic location right in the old town on top of the cliff. Adriano couldn’t have been more helpful. He collected us from and took us back to the station to help with our luggage. The station is only a 10 minute walk from the apartment and the train service is very efficient, so is the best way to travel to Tropea given its narrow streets! Tropea itself is a delight. The beaches are beautiful and the cobbled streets and squares are charming with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants to explore. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Adriano’s apartment and have no hesitation in recommending.

A Beautifully Styled Apartment in a Magical Location in the Historic Centre of Tropea

This beautiful and well furnished apartment is situated in the centre of the historic centre of Tropea but it is away from the hussle and bussle. We have been to Tropea many times and this was by far, the best place that we have stayed. The view from our apartment was spectacular as we faced the Santa Maria Dell Isola Church. The Church was lit up at night as we admired the view from our spacious balcony and listened to the sound of the water crashing against the rocks. The apartment was spotlessly clean and was equipped with everything that we needed (home from home). Adriano and Cecilia had thought of everything to make our stay very comfortable. To our delight, the beds were also comfortable which is unusual in Italy! Our daughters felt very much at home and relaxed. We were provided with a large bowl of organic fruit which was a real treat on our arrival. Adriano also took us to the station to catch our train early in the morning. Thank you Adriano and Cecilia, we are all looking forward to returning to your beautiful apartment very soon.

unforgettable stay in unique apartment

This was our second vacation at this apartment and we loved it just as much as five years ago. While walking through Tropea, we noticed there were more residences and B&B then last time. Yet, nothing matches the prime location of this apartment: you can't find better in terms of the view (beathtaking indeed!), big terrace, closeness to the beach and the city center. But that's not all: travelling by car with our 4 kids plus dog we appreciated the spaciousness, the private and secure parking just in front of the apartment, the dog-friendlyness. We also liked the furniture and the tasteful decoration, even more so this time (after having seen so many other apartments with cheap and cliché decorations). Special thanks to Adriano and Cecilia and their warm welcome (upon our arrival we were surprised with a huge fruit basket on the dining table!) and their responsiveness when ever we needed some help. We are already longing to come back.

Het was meer dan perfect. Of zoals Adriano zelf zegt: it’s like living on a postcard. Het uitzicht is adembenemend en het huis met een balkon over twee zijdes is fantastisch. Alle faciliteiten zijn aanwezig. De entree is op een binnneplaats wat ervoor dat je geen geluiden hebt van drukke straatleven in het stadje Tropea

Tolle Wohnung an einzigartiger Lage mit super Gastgeber

Die Sicht vom Balkon auf die Kirche und das Meer sind absolut entschleunigend. All das mitten in der Altstadt. Adriano hat uns einen Parkplatz reserviert und uns mitsamt Gepäck gefahren.

Wahnsinns-Terrasse mit Wahnsinns-Ausblick!

Wahnsinns-Terrasse mit Wahnsinns-Ausblick! Die Wohnung ist toll gelegen und die Terrasse so einmalig, dass man es kaum glauben kann. Gerade morgens - wo die großflächig umlaufende Terrasse noch im Schatten liegt - und natürlich abends zum Sonnenuntergang ein Traum! Das tröstet darüber hinweg, dass es zur Strandseite hin sehr laut ist. Wer geräuschempfindlich ist, wird hier nachts Probleme haben. Unten wurde oft bis tief in die Nacht gefeiert, dazu Glocken, Auto-Alarmanlagen usw. Die Türen haben wir trotzdem offen gelassen, weil es keine Klimaanlage gibt und es in Tropea zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthalts sehr heiß war. Die Doppelmatratze ist - na ja - bewegungssensibel. Zur Stadtseite liegen unzählige Bars und Restaurants gleich um die Ecke im hübschen Altstadt-Gewirr und -Trubel. Sehr atmosphärisch. Wir haben außerhalb der durchfahrtbeschränkten Altstadt geparkt. Adriano ist ein freundlicher Vermieter, der uns sogar einen Parkplatz freigehalten und uns, mit seinem außergewöhnlichen, altstadttauglichen Citroen beim Transport unseres Gepäcks geholfen hat. Nicht selbstverständlich und sehr nett war auch, dass wir Sonnenschirme, Sitzmöbel und Bodyboard für den Strand nutzen durften. Die Wohnung selbst war gut geeignet für uns als 4-köpfige Familie. Sie ist schön eingerichtet, gut ausgestattet und es gibt sehr viel Stauraum. Das Bad ist eher zweckmäßig. Man sollte die Info zu Strom und Therme lesen, das hatten wir zunächst nicht. ;-)

Vacanza indimenticabile!

Appartamento con un grande terrazzo e una vista mozzafiato, che ha dato un tocco di classe e bellezza in più, alla nostra colazione, pranzo o cena. Pulizia e l'ordine della casa, perfette. Il proprietario signor Adriano, una persona molto in gamba, gentile e disponibile, non ci ha fatto mancare nulla. Torneremo sicuramente.

Beautiful!

This must be the most beautiful view in Tropea, one of the most beautiful towns in Italy. Our teenagers loved roaming around the city, and we loved relaxing on the terrace all day, then zipping down the stairs to cool off in the ocean. The apartment is clean and well decorated, and Adriano is a pleasure to work with. We are already planning a return!

Fantastic Location and Host!

Host was amazing and made us very welcome for the stay. The location and view were the best in Tropea (seriously). I was worried that the photos of the views were stock pictures of the area. But the reality was the pictures did not do the view justice. There were some negatives - the couch was over used (time for a new one), fridge had trouble staying cold, sewer smell in the back bedroom was unbearable at times. Overall we loved our stay and would refer a friend to stay there.
