All you could need

The property is lovely! It has all that you could need for a beach stay! The views are incredible...fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the waves crashing. Comfortable accommodations and clean! Easy process from start to finish and good communication.

Ocean Spirit has been on my “wish list” for 45 years
..as I watched it being built in 1980. And the experience over the Christmas holidays did not disappoint! Marcia was so kind and prompt in her correspondence to me and I truly appreciated that in a busy time of the year. My beautiful bride of 57 years passed recently after a two year battle with cancer. My two daughters and their families decided we needed to make a change in our traditions this year and a trip back to Bethany seemed appropriate since our family has loved it for the past 50 years. The house was perfectly situated on the most fantastic and peaceful part of the beach and the views were breathtaking. Accommodations were spot on with five bedrooms and the property was available off season which seems to be somewhat rare. Literally everything we needed was there
.kitchen supplies, paper goods, soaps, etc. it was clean and warm and an absolute haven for all 7 of us. Waking up in the luxurious king bed in the primary to immediately sea the sun rising over the ocean was alone worth the price of admission. This Ocean Hamlet property is not “just another townhouse at the beach”, rather it is a very special place where views, sand, sea, sun and sky are right immediately at your beck and call. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed. Thank for for offering your vacation home to us Marcia and Steve

Why is vacation so short?

The weather forecast wasn’t shore weather but it was!!! (They always scare you for nothing!). A great vacation begins with a great family. To that you add a beautiful condo, beautiful weather and great food. We had it all. The air conditioner tried to spoil one evening but Steve was there within minutes and sent repair man Daniel out and we were cool again in no time. We ate at the recommended Matt’s Fish Camp and it was very good. Hard to believe we had a great restaurant a block away! We hope to see you again Bethany Beach!

The house was perfect!

We had a wonderful weekend getaway. The house is right in the dunes so getting down to the private beach was super quick and easy. The beds and couch were super comfortable, and we had a bottle of complementary wine waiting for us. We’ll be back for sure!

AMAZING VIEWS in this lovely townhome location in Tower Shores

Our family LOVED this townhome in Tower Shores with the most amazing ocean views. Since we have small kids, it was a real treat to be so close to the beach where we could easily take one of little ones up for naptime or grab lunch. The owner was so friendly and wonderful to work with....easily answering any question we had. The beds were also the most comfortable of any beds we've ever slept in while in a beach rental! The home is modestly decorated, but was perfect for our family and all you need for an incredible beach getaway. Highly recommend!

We loved staying at the property with easy beach access. It was spacious and comfortable for our small family of 5 adults and 2 children. Best part was falling asleep to the waves crashing on the beach at night, we already miss that.

Location cannot be beat! Ocean waves lulled us to sleep and the kids enjoyed the wide, clean beach.

Plenty of room for our family of five with room to invite another family on our next stay. We will definitely stay here again for our next beach vacation.

Found our vacation home!

We have been coming to Bethany Beach for six years now and have stayed at five different places always searching for the perfect rental. This year we found it! As soon as we walked in the door we could tell this house was so much cleaner than the previous rentals. Since there isn't a screened in back porch we had beautiful unrestricted views of the ocean. The owner had lots of thoughtful little things (such as shower caddies in the showers to hold all your stuff!) that were greatly appreciated. I had to contact the owner with a minor issue and she went above and beyond to make sure the issue was resolved. As soon as I returned home I booked our stay for next year!! As far as we are concerned this is our forever vacation home!!

This was our first time renting a beach property, and it was such a good experience that we want to do it again! Ocean Spirit is just amazing - right on the beach but still private. The unit itself was clean and well-kept; the furniture was all really nice and the floor-plan made it easy to accommodate 2 families without getting in each other's way. It is very well located, also, with very convenient shopping. The owners were considerate and easy to work with, and we even had a bottle of wine waiting for us - what a great touch! We will definitely rent this unit again and would recommend it to all -

Ocean Spirit...Wonderful vacation!

We have stayed on Bethany Beach for over ten years, all at Tower Shores. Ocean Spirit is by far our favorite condo right on the Beach. The owners are friendly and are wonderful to work with and, unlike other owners whose property we have rented, the Plotkin's live nearby in case anything is needed. We spent the week there with two of our daughters, their husbands and five grandchildren and had plenty of room...and fun! Bethany and Rehoboth Beaches have plenty of great restaurants and family activities nearby, and shopping at the three Tanger Malls in Rehoboth is sales tax free.

Amazing property!!

This was my 5th year staying at Tower Shores complex but 1st at this property. How can it not be great....it is right on the beach! 3 decks overlooking the ocean, enjoyed morning coffee and breakfast in pajamas on the deck and evenings under the stars! The owners were awesome with which to work!! Looking forward to next year!!

September at the beach is great

After spending the last 15-20 years at the Outer Banks we decided to come back to Bethany since it is closer to our grown children. This experience did not disappoint. Everyone loved being right on the beach -- and our stay had the added benefit of being during a full moon -- so the nights were gorgeous too. This house is well appointed -- and the beds are very comfortable. The location is ideal as well -- a bit out of the center traffic, but close enough to everything. Having a great restaurant at the end of the street was an added treat -- Matt's Fish Camp has delicious food and is a few minutes walk from the house.

Superb House and Location

This was our 10th year at Ocean Spirit. The owners have not only maintained the house perfectly, but have also supplied extras such as beach chairs and umbrellas. The house was again perfect for our children and grandchildren who now range in age from 20 to 60. Our oldest granddaughter was just married and her brother toasted us at the wedding with special thanks for our Bethany Beach years. At night the stars seem touchable. Falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean and waking up to see the sunrise are unforgettable experiences. We also love the location and being close to Matt's Fish Camp for excellent take-out and dine in food. In addition, Rehoboth, Fenwick, and Ocean City are a short drive away. My husband and I and our family wholeheartedly recommend Ocean Spirit.

Fantastic week on the beach

After going to the White Mountains for over 10 years we wanted a change. After the kids balked at driving 10+ hours to go to the outer banks, I recalled Bethany as a place I had been as a child. The unit was beautiful, and perfect for our family. Our 5 kids range in age from early teens to early 20's and they all had a great time. The place was very nicely appointed, from the kitchen supplies to the wifi to the beach gear. There is nothing like being right on the beach. Everything is just a short walk away. We rented kayaks for the week and almost everybody went out to kayak with the many dolphins that swim by every day. The location between Bethany and Rehoboth means you are a short drive away from nightlife, restaurants, and other attractions. The top deck is a great place to gather at night and watch the stars.

Excellent spot on the Northern Tiers of Bethany Beach!

We loved it!! This is one of the nicest places we have rented at Bethany Beach. It was so clean and beautiful! There were plenty of bathrooms for everyone to use, and comfortable beds. The kitchen has been recently upgraded and is very nice. The top roof deck had an incredible view of the ocean along with laid back chairs. Everyday we walked right on the beach as early as 5 am. There are many things you can do down at Bethany. Restaurants like Matt's Fish Camp is nearby, can choose restaurants from the north to the south: Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach, Bethany Beach, Fenwick Islands, and then Ocean City, MD. Rehoboth Beach is a short drive north, Ocean City, Maryland is a short drive south, and Assateague Island (with the wild horses) are both a short trip away. Then there is Berlin, Md which is about a 25 minute trip. Activities and attractions are on everyday.

Great time at Ocean Spirit

This was our families second trip to Ocean Spirit. While the weather was not the best the house is wonderful for those that love the beach. Unobstructed views of the shoreline , birds, and rolling ocean in a comfortable well maintained, well stocked home. We grilled, cooked in and enjoyed local restaurants. The surf fishers had easy access to the State Seashore Park. We all enjoyed the 3 foot Rock Fish caught there in the surf. We saw (first tine in 40yrs coming to beach) a humped back whale just yards off shore.! Could not ask for more.

great time in delaware

we had a great time with the family on a new years get away the house is well maintained and the acomodations are excellent. easy access onto the beach and ocean cant get any better for beach lovers.

Great Time on the Beach

This makes the 2nd year in a row my friends and I have stayed at these oceanfront units (Ocean Spirit and Silver Dawn). The accommodations are excellent and well maintained. Beach access is great especially if you like to surf fish. Our group was a "guys getaway" while our wives were up in Rehobeth at their "getaway". Our priorities were fish, eat and baseball. There are a number of good restaurants in either Bethany or Rehobeth nearby but Matt's Seafood Camp is a short block away(walk) and is excellent for fresh seafood.

We have lived in suburban Philadelphia, PA for years. However the drive to Bethany Beach is consistently such a treat to the soul. Our 7 grandchildren think likewise. We are grateful to have flunked retirement twice, attained degrees from Drexel University, ran our own business, traveled extensively, and appreciate every minute of life we can.

We simply love North Bethany Beach, a true quiet resort area. Beach front living at its finest in a quiet community with easy access to a rich variety of activities in the immediate area. The sparkling ocean beach, the slow culture of Southern Delaware and racy Ocean City, MD. Did we mention birding, fishing and discount shopping - and absolutely NO sales tax?

Ocean Spirit is a uniquely situated home built right on the sand dunes. You can’t do that anymore! The ocean tide water occasionally even runs under the home. We enjoy sharing with our friendly clients all year-round. Peaceful, relaxing but with much to do in the area, we love just staring out the windows looking for migrating dolphins or indulging in our birdwatching and boating hobbies.
As one guest said 'We've traveled all over the world and the sunrise here could match any we've seen anywhere.' We couldn't agree more. We hope you visit!

North Bethany is a high value up-and-coming area yet outside the city limits. We wanted a place where we could be directly on the ocean to observe and join with nature at her best (passing dolphins) and we could walk to get a cup of coffee (a small restaurant is nearby). We got it all in Ocean Spirit plus a gorgeous home. You are welcome to come and share the ocean magic with us.

What's not to like?

Our lovely sand dunes offer spectacular ocean views from the beachside. Mother nature lives at our doorstep with entertaining shore birds and passing dolphins. Watch each day arise with the sun piercing the horizon way out at sea and early-bird boaters plying the surf.
