The Neighborhood:
Carlin How is a small village located in North Yorkshire, just four miles from the popular seaside town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea. Whitby is also within a 30-minute drive from the village. Walk along Church Street and youâll wind up at the East bank where youâll find narrow mediaeval streets dotted with boutiques, pubs and fish restaurants. Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stokerâs gothic novel âDraculaâ.
Walk over the swing bridge which sits over the River Esk and youâll find yourself at the West side of town. Itâs here you can discover cosy pubs, fun arcades and even more fish restaurants! Continue along the lively road until you reach the beautiful, blue flag West Cliff Beach which is lined with idyllic beach huts.
