Halle Rose is a spacious yet intimate six-bedroom en-suite colonial style house located near the West Ridge of the prestigious Sandy Lane Estate in St. James, Barbados. The main house, adjoining cottage and pool extend over 6,000 square feet on a plot of over 2 ½ acres which is nestled amidst the ‘Old Nine’ golf course and boasts an uninterrupted view of the Caribbean Sea. A short walk past the first golf hole lies celebrity hotspot, Sandy Lane Beach, on which guests can enjoy the luxury of the house’s private Cabana.

Halle Rose is a beautiful combination of vintage colonial charm and modern design. The ground level welcomes you with an expansive greeting space emblazoned with rustic furniture that flows effortlessly into a terrace dining area overlooking the pool and tropical gardens, with a calming seascape backdrop.

An open corridor flows invitingly, both left and right, from the terrace into the rest of the main house. The left hallway overlooks the pool and guides you past the two guest bedrooms followed by the master bedroom, all air-conditioned with en-suite bathrooms. The right hallway overlooks the gardens and leads you to the grand dining area, furnished with an antique mahogany table that creates a focal point of the house.

In the mornings, golden sunrises brighten every room and in the late afternoon, orange sunsets caress the sprawling rear garden providing a stunning view of the coast. This spectacular view is made more awe-inspiring when taken from the pool, which provides a unique perspective of the gardens and the ocean beyond.

At garden level, one can access the vast, ultra-modern kitchen with a dumbwaiter that accesses the grand dining room above. To the right of the Kitchen is an onsite gym and to the left an adjoining two-bedroom, one bathroom cottage with living and office space. The easy open navigation of the main house is echoed in the layout of the adjoining cottage. Almost every room in this area is air-conditioned including the living, office space, and both bedrooms. The single bathroom is beautifully spacious, and together with the two bedrooms, maintains an ideal level of privacy from the living area. Those in the cottage can egress without disrupting those in the main house due to its prime location to the rear drive and one of two entrance gates onto the property.

The entire property can be traversed by a surrounding footpath, which leads upward to the semicircular driveway, where the dedicated entrance and exit gates access the private road.

Halle Rose also enjoys the use of the Sandy Lane Beach Facilities (which include beach chairs, umbrellas, snack bar, washrooms & showers) on the exclusive Sandy Lane Beach.
