Very responsive team for my stay. Was clean on arrival and came to clean during the stay. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would pick this place again.
Great location on the water. There is not an actual beach you can sit at but being on the water was nice. The pool was a huge hit for our family. The local bus was easy to use but remember to have barbados dollars and exact change. Everyone was attentive in communicating throughout our trip. There was a mixup and the door code was never sent to us, which took more time than it should to figure it out. We were supposed to checkin at 3pm, and we were able to get into the house, but the cleaning staff didn't leave til 5pm. We appreciated the spices and coffee for use. Overall, a great place to stay!
Nice beach and snorkeling right behind the house. Bedrooms set up nicely for a group as well. Great restaurant right next door, grocery store within walking distance. Hired private chef who was fabulous as well. Spectacular sunset from deckâŠ.
We had 7 adults and 1 child and the accommodations worked well for us. The ensuites for all the bedrooms were wonderful. The first-floor parlor was great. Some of the small appliances need to be updated, ie toaster, microwave.
The property would have been off the charts great if there had been a lift to take the luggage to bedrooms, a dishwasher and on a quieter street.
Stayed here 10 days The house is very sparsely decorated Not enough furniture in the bedrooms and way too crowded in the main family room. Pool area is very small and steps and railing to beach are in bad shape. Lots of kitchen cooking items were missing The master bathroom has a water leak under the sink. Itâs at the front of the house so lots of road noise at night. Parking at the villa was a little tricky but not impossible
The beach out front is beautiful and you can walk for a long way. Also walking distance to some restaurants
The recent Hurricane Beryl completely washed away the coastline, so all that remains of the beach are rocks. Obviously the host cannot control the weather, but it would have been nice to know that the coastline for 300 meters on either side of the property is completely barren and filled with rocks.
Also, the furniture is very worn and uncomfortable. The couch has no seat depth and the armchairs, while very deep, have cushions that have completely lost all plumpness.
But, on the plus side, the view was beautiful, the pool was great, and the bus stops to the city were very close. Also, while there was no beach at the property, a ten minute walk down the road did lead to Batts Rock Beach and a nice restaurant.
This was the perfect place for a getaway. Great amenities, own beach, soft beds, and in a good location for restaurants, etc. We really didn't want to leave.
The property is exactly as listed! The views and outdoor areas make the perfect trip to indulge in the island. The housekeeper and hired chef elevated our experience! My only complaint was communicating with the property manager, Kristina, leading up to the visit. We must have not understood what each other were saying because I felt like she never directly answered my questions. Nonetheless, our entire experience was pretty seamless and I would stay here again and again!
I can't speak highly enough about the experience I had staying at Imagine. Having never been to Barbados, I initially booked a spot in the St. Lawrence Gap area. Huge mistake for me. It was party central (loud club music until 4am!), not to mention the accommodations were not close to what was described in the write up. I immediately started searching to find another option and came across Imagine...
From my initial email exchange with Kailash through the super speedy return of the security deposit, I felt very grateful to have found this gorgeous beach house. The house itself has all the amenities you could want, beautifully designed in a luxurious, modern aesthetic... but all you really need is to sit out on the deck and enjoy that stunning view. Especially at sunset.
Highly, highly recommended.
