A102 is a romantic, tropical, West coast apartment with private garden and exclusive use of two exceptional swimming pools, tennis courts, gymnasium and private pool-side restaurant, all set in the luxury surroundings of the exclusive, gated Sugar Hill Estate in St. James. Within a few steps of the apartment you will find yourself in over 50 acres of manicured gardens with majestic swaying palm trees and tropical birds.

This delightful apartment comes with access to the stunning, 5* Fairmont Royal Pavilion Beach Club, one of the best beaches in Barbados, with complimentary sunbeds/umbrella. The beach is a 5 minute drive from Sugar Hill and benefits from use of their two restaurants & Beach Club/ Cafe & watersports, with beach side parking for guests.

The apartment is beautifully designed by the owner who is an Internationally known architect / interior designer and there are some interesting pieces of art in the apartment from his collection.

Claire, the housekeeper, will visit mid week to clean and make the beds. Claire is available for additional housekeeping duties if required, at extra cost that can be negotiated directly with her on arrival.

Barbados is known for its wonderful beaches, great food and welcoming people. Tall Palms, with all it's conveniences, will give you the opportunity to truly explore all aspects of this wonderful Island with the flexibility of apartment living in beautiful surroundings.

Please note that nightly rates include the local taxes of 11.5% and estate service charges. There will be a security deposit of £300.00 payable before arrival.

We loved our stay in Sugar Hill! The condo was perfect for 2 people! Very well equipped & very surprised with the generous closet space. Renovated bathroom was very nice.We spent lots of time on the covered porch taking in the view of the beautiful grounds. The host was wonderful giving us a personal tour of the place when we arrived & Clair was quick to respond to any of our queries. We would definitely recommend this garden apartment & hope to return again.

Lovely little apartment with great access to pool and main clubhouse. Car is a must. Plenty of clean towels (beach & bath). Clair was very helpful. Would gladly stay again.

Beautiful property

We had a great stay here! Clean and as described. Lovely quiet location to relax. 20 mins walk to the beach so would advise getting a car to see more of the island. The communication was excellent throughout our stay which really made us feel secure. Thank you again!

Cosy ground floor apartment, in excellent area. Not far from anything on the West Coast but need a car. Very responsive owners, Housekeeper Claire is lovely, smart and proactive - more like a house manager. Thanks for a lovely stay!!

Sugar Hill is wonderful!

Sugar Hill is a wonderful place to stay with beautiful grounds, great facilities (especially the pools) and the beach club access is a real bonus. This property is compact with just about adequate aircon, but great for a short stay for 2 people. Check-in was painless and host communication was good including some excellent restaurant recommendations. There is a good supermarket and bread shop a short drive away so I would say a car was verging on essential especially if you want to tour the island. Clair the cleaner is a real asset. The villa is rather tired in places and did not compare favourably in standard or value for money with a larger Sugar Hill villa we rented last year. This said we had a great stay.

Pleasant stay but a bit disappointed

The property is in a beautiful location in Sugar Hill, lovely communal pools , but the apartment is tired, very small and not very clean. A new cleaner turned up during our stay who was very nice but when we first arrived the apartment smelt damp and musty and not very clean. Then I forgot a couple of beach coverups left behind bathroom door . I tried messaging the owner but received no response. We were still staying in Barbados so I was keen to try to retrieve missing items. No answer. Very poor.

Beautiful Barbados

Lovely stay. Accurate description. Property manager very helpful and good communication. A small problem with a bathroom fitting was seen to within a few hours. Very convenient location. We hired a car but buses and taxis plentiful. Sugar hill is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Other residents and guests very polite and friendly. Pools clean and plenty of sun beds , air con in gym, deck restaurant and staff very good. Took advantage of thier popular happy hour twice a week. We especially liked the super king bed and white company bed linen. Access to fairnont beach club very useful as comfortable loungers there. We recommend Barbados blue for diving. Loved lunch at Pegg Farm,Fishpot,Limegrove- rustic kitchen and buzz bar smoothies. SeaCat for dinner.cicis for lunch. Don’t forget to try a roadside coconut with a straw in it. We loved our first trip to Barbados

Quiet, clean and convenient

We stayed at the unit early April 2023 and had a lovely time. The gated community is well maintained, quiet, with access to pools and on-sight restaurant that’s pretty good, if you don’t feel like going out! It’s also a few min drive into Holetown with access to shopping and restaurants. The unit is clean, well stocked with all the essentials however it’s a bit smaller than it appears in the pictures. It has a cottage vibe with lots of decor, we had to move some stuff around to fit luggages. Bathroom can use some TLC, it’s a bit worn. There is Air conditioning in the unit located in the master bedroom. We found it we left it running all day the unit seem to stay cool. The unit also come with beach club access to a part of the Fairmount Hotel beach. Claire and the housekeeper were great! Claire is very responsive and helpful. Thank you for your hospitality!
